Reviews describe Sushiuma as a lively all you can eat sushi spot with fresh, well presented fish, service is efficient, and the atmosphere is modern and welcoming, with a playful robot delivering plates. The menu is wide, ordering via tablet is easy, and the option to bring your own bottle is appreciated, offering good value. Some notes mention slower service at peak times, variable dish quality, and higher costs on certain days or for lunch menus.
I came here for the lunch buffet, which is a decent value - all you can eat lunch including tax & tip is under $40 CAD. I tried about a dozen dishes, as the portions are small & delivered quickly. However, I honestly did not like a single thing on the menu aside from the seaweed salad & miso soup, which are hard to mess up. Everything else was just bland. You get what you pay for.

Sushiuma is one of the better all-you-can-eat sushi spots I've tried. The rolls were flavorful & not overloaded with rice. Fast service & friendly staff.
Had a great experience at Sushiuma. The sushi was fresh & well presented, especially the salmon & tuna nigiri. Service was attentive without being overwhelming. Definitely coming back.
I like the place .
Service is really good
Friendly staff , manager , waiter zeqi wang , & cashier & the others .
I recommend . Food is yummy. It's bring ur own wine on top of that :)

The sushi rice was way too sweet. I ate only a few rolls yet experienced a fever like state later that night. It seemed that, at the kitchen counter, some of the fish & other ingredients seemed to be left out in the open air & the staff was using it to make the rolls they were serving, so I suspect it was food poisoning.
One good thing is that they do offer some halal & veggie options. The torched sushi was offered & tasted great.
The service was fine, but the atmosphere of the restaurant was intensely dark. It could be better if they used some more lighting. Music was okay but kind of loud & not a peaceful choice of playlist for a sushi place.
I love having so many options to eat. It's my favorite place to go every weekend! Sometimes orders don't arrive or take so long that I hesitate to order it again. But I always go back anyway because the food & service are so good!
