Tonight I ordered 5 different sushi rolls: tiger eye, chicken, eel, california & shrimp, fresh & delicious, nicely present. I recommended it.

I ordered the'Yu Mi Tasting Menu'. The selection was good. It was a bit too much for me portion wise. I think it's good for 2 person.

J'ai récemment eu l'occasion de manger chez Yumi Sushi, & je dois dire que j'ai été très impressionné, du début à la fin. Tout d'abord, le service a été extrêmement rapide. À peine assis, j'ai été accueilli avec le sourire, & ma commande a été prise presque immédiatement. Quelques minutes plus tard, mes plats étaient déjà devant moi, ce qui m'a d'abord fait craindre que la rapidité ait compromis la qualité… mais c'était loin d'être le cas.
La cuisine était tout simplement excellente. J'ai goûté à plusieurs variétés de sushis, dont des nigiris, des makis & des spécialités de la maison. Chaque bouchée était fraîche, bien équilibrée & soigneusement préparée. Le riz était parfaitement assaisonné, les poissons fondaient en bouche, & les présentations étaient dignes d'un restaurant haut de gamme. La qualité des ingrédients était indéniable.
Je suis allé dans plusieurs restaurants de sushis à Montréal & ailleurs, certains très réputés, mais aucun n'a égalé l'expérience que j'ai eue chez Yumi Sushi. Ce n'est pas seulement une question de goût : c'est aussi l'attention aux détails, l'ambiance calme, le personnel attentif, & surtout, cette sensation qu'on y prend la cuisine japonaise au sérieux, sans prétention.
Pour ceux qui aiment les sushis, ou même ceux qui veulent les découvrir, je recommande fortement ce restaurant. Yumi Sushi est, à mes yeux, le meilleur dans sa catégorie, & je compte bien y retourner très bientôt. Un véritable coup de coeur!

I recently visited this sushi spot & was seriously impressed. The a la carte sushi is absolutely delicious, & the rice in the sushi is perfectly cooked, a standout for sure. The only downside would be the atmosphere, which could use some renovation as it feels a bit dated. But honestly, the sushi is a hidden gem, & I would definitely recommend it for anyone craving great sushi!

Ordered uber eats from this place & it was not good. One of the worst sushi I've had. I got the spicy Salmon, rainbow, kamikaze & California makis. The salmon in all the rolls (except rainbow) was grounded up & mixed with panko, which had a weird smokey flavor. I felt like they're trying to cheap out on the salmon by mixing it with panko & the sushis just didn't taste good. The best sushi was the rainbow but it wasn't that great either. Would not order again & would not recommend.

I will write this review as I sit & watch these gentlemen make sushi. It is Valentine's Day, they are overloaded with orders & takeaway... & they hustle, but they do not lose their cool, composure, or dignity. I am very impressed. I will update this review after I eat if necessary, but these guys are professional & on point.

I really like Sushi Yumi. Very good Sushi at a reasonable price point. Mr. Lee, the proprietor & Sushi chef is a very nice & kind person. I always call in my orders & they're always ready on time & he always greets me with a smile. It's really a takeout place more than a dine-in place even though they have a few tables so don't expect much in terms of atmosphere if you're planning to eat there. My only complaint is that they could use with a little more variety of rolls (I have dietary restrictions & don't eat seafood like shrimps & crab). But other than that, it's really excellent if you want to eat sushi at home.
