About

Sushi Shop delivers a refined selection of Japanese-inspired cuisine centered on freshly prepared sushi rolls and vibrant, ingredient-forward poke bowls. The menu features a diverse array of nigiri, sashimi, and signature maki creations that prioritize clean presentation and consistent quality. Patrons also encounter a variety of refreshing bubble tea beverages, which complement the savory profiles of the seafood-centric dishes. The preparation process emphasizes the use of crisp vegetables, high-grade fish, and seasoned rice to ensure authentic flavor profiles in every serving. Each order reflects a standardized commitment to modern culinary efficiency and quick service standards. The streamlined menu structure allows for rapid customization, catering to preferences for raw, cooked, or vegetarian alternatives without compromising the integrity of the base recipes found across this recognizable brand network.

Review Summary

Sushi Shop generally receives high praise for its fresh, delicious food and wide variety of sushi and combo options. Customers frequently highlight the clean environment and the effort staff members put into managing both online and in-store orders, even during busy periods. While some diners have noted occasional delays in service for those eating on-site, the majority of experiences reflect satisfaction with the quality of ingredients, the pleasant atmosphere, and the attentive service provided.

It's a nice space & food is good. But the service is poor. I understand that sometimes at lunch it can be busy, so I recommend calling for pick up beforehand. I waited 40 minutes for my Poke Bowl. I get it they were only 2 working & there were 3 people ahead of me. But I wasn't expecting a 40 minute wait for a Poke Bowl

We order from Suchi shop a lot, but the one on Lucerne is where service is the worst. They get 50% of all orders wrong (wrong rice, wrong ingredients...). The manager has anger management issues. She yells at customers for no reason (she barely speaks english, forget french !) & yells constantly at her employees. The ambiance is bad... Try other sushi places in TMR.

The miso soup tasted watered down

Food: ordered a single ebi maki snack to enjoy after a successful marketplace deal. All 8 pieces were indeed on the plate. Only complaint is that the butts of the roll were a little skinny & they could've been more generous with the tempura flakes. Service: they brought the rolls to our table with paper cups of water. I remember when they used to have the self-serve water cups. Then after we were done it was a little awkward because there was no designated space to put back our plates & there were no trash cans. Atmosphere: their bathroom is cleaner than mine at home & their decor... I mean it's there but the weird pumpkin at the entrance threw me off. Lastly, the choice of music & the lighting is awful. They just definitely dim the lights to go for the grey decor. The music is just the radio. Before eating there I didn't know that Toyota released their new 2024 RAV4. Anyways, the music could definitely be something calmer & more curated than random & lousy pop music.
