About

Sushi Palace specializes in the fusion of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and bold, vibrant Szechuan flavors. Expertly sliced sashimi and meticulously prepared maki rolls anchor the menu alongside an array of spicy, numbing stir-fry dishes that define the signature Szechuan palate. Guests experience a diverse culinary landscape where delicate vinegared rice meets the intense heat of peppercorns and aromatic chilis. Each plate highlights premium seafood selections prepared with strict attention to texture and visual presentation. The kitchen maintains a focus on authentic techniques to balance the complexity of these two distinct culinary traditions. Patrons encounter a methodical approach to ingredient sourcing that ensures freshness in every serving of nigiri, rolls, and hearty wok-tossed specialties. The establishment serves as a dedicated hub for enthusiasts seeking both refined raw fish options and robust, heat-forward regional Asian plates.

Review Summary

Sushi Palace provides a widely polarized experience for diners, with opinions ranging from high praise for their fresh, affordable all-you-can-eat menu to disappointment regarding food quality and service consistency. Many guests appreciate the variety of dishes, particularly the popular General Tao chicken, and frequently commend the friendly, hardworking staff. However, others report issues with long wait times, limited menu selections, inconsistent ingredient freshness, and occasional frustration with reservation or seating policies. While some patrons consider it a top-tier destination for budget-friendly dining, others find the atmosphere dated or the experience stressful during peak hours, suggesting that consistency in service and culinary execution remains a point of contention among visitors.

Sushi pieces are rice cucumber & vegetables & little bit of seafood. Not recommending this place to anyone & i definitely don't come back to this place.
Many other places in the same price range offer better food.

Restaurant is very accommodating. I had forgotten to mention my daughter in the reservation & when I called on the day of the reservation, they were able to make the change without any hassle. Food is amazing as usual. We've been going for years & it's always good on a consistent basis. The sushi is always fresh & they have a lot of variety for those who do not eat sushi (like my husband who enjoyed their soup, chicken, wafu shrimp, rice & dumplings). Our server was also very friendly, attentive & we felt taken care of whenever we needed anything. I will definitely be going back & recommend to anyone!

I love sushi, & have made it a goal to try different all-you-can-eat sushi places throughout Laval & Montreal. There have been good ones, & many "never go back" places, but the Laval Sushi Palace is the only sushi place I have been a loyal customer to.
Their service is consistently good, & quick. Many choices to choose from on the menu. Open concept sushi-making. Polite waiters/hostessesses.
Only little remark would be that the food may have that "off day', where the rice is moister than other times= not great. However, the former is not often enough to call it the norm.
