I've been visiting Montreal from out of town & heard Sushi Newan had amazing sushi. The food itself was great (which is why I've given it a 3 star), but the service & dealing with UEats has made my experience here quite bad. I noticed that it had been over an hour & half with no food or no call from the restaurant so I called. Turns out they had no delivery driver available. They really should have called me to let me know or cancelled my order. I was charged for delivery & tipping the driver but 1) I was never informed by the restaurant that my driver was NOT available for delivery & 2) I was never refunded for the delivery & driver tipping fee (which came to about $10.00). If I didn't call the restaurant & ask where my food was, would they have called me to let me know? I was also told the refund would be processed but it has been almost a week & they haven't even bothered calling me back or refunding me a cent. Super unfortunate considering how great the sushi was.

Used to be my go to place, avoiding now. Delivery order said 45 minutes, I get deliveries are late on busy nights but took 3 hours. Ordered tonight for pick up, they lost my order, would be another 45 minutes if I reordered. No apologies just, "we lost your order". give 2 stars for the food/price, ordinary but reasonable for the quality. but not going ba k any time soon
