Review Summary

Sushi Bae is generally viewed as a convenient neighborhood spot that provides generous portions at reasonable prices, with many patrons appreciating the friendly service and consistent house-made sauces. While long-time customers often praise the quality and reliability of the food, recent reviews have noted an increase in inconsistency, concerns regarding freshness, and complaints about missing condiments or excessive lettuce in rolls. Although it remains a favorite for some locals, others feel the overall experience has declined compared to its past performance.

Good sushi at a reasonable price relative to other Montreal sushi options. The service used to be slow but it's gotten a lot better.

Sushi B was my go-to neighborhood sushi spot when I lived in Verdun. I used to order from them often & always found it to be a really solid local option. The quality wasn't exceptional, but it was definitely better than typical chain sushi like Sushi Shop.

Recently, however, I've noticed that the quality has become very average & inconsistent. The last few times I ordered, it just didn't feel as reliable as it used to be, which was disappointing given how much I used to enjoy it.

J'ai fait une intoxication alimentaire suite à la consommation du thon blanc le 6 janvier. Clairement il n'était pas frais.

Order for take-out. A special from the chef. Staff is very nice. Very generous portion. Fish & toppings are very fresh. I like the house made sauce. Everything was excellent!
