I was really excited to try Spuntino, especially as a new local spot, but unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.
My friend & I both ordered the Mafaldini al Funghi, & it was completely lacking in flavor. It tasted bland, & instead of properly seasoning the dish, it seemed like the kitchen tried to compensate by adding a heavy amount of lemon on top, which only made it worse. The flavours didn't come together at all, & the dish ended up being unpleasant to eat. We both left more than three-quarters of our bowls untouched.
What made the experience even more frustrating was the service. When the waitress came to clear our plates, she didn't ask if anything was wrong, despite how obvious it was that we hadn't eaten our meals. There was no effort to check in or address the situation.
Overall, it was a very disappointing first impression, & unfortunately, I won't be returning.
Great time on Sunday evening... Quiet with reasonable prices, excellent food (Gramigna bolognese) & attentive service. Plus I adore the decor & lighting. Don't miss it!
Went here for dinner -was super great ! Prices are too high for the portions but the food is very very good ! I tried the Eggplant parm & the truffle pasta ! Rate each around a 9/10.

Lovely Italian-style restaurant in Westmount. The atmosphere was really nice & relaxing, with friendly staff, good service & delicious pizzas. For dessert we tried pistachio tiramisu & it was definitely the right choice!
What a great addition to Westmont. The food is comforting & well executed, making it an easy choice for families & casual outings. The overall quality has been consistently good, & both the service & atmosphere are welcoming & enjoyable. While there's a sense that the staff could benefit from more formal training, they more than make up for it with their effort, friendliness, & willingness to help. I've been twice & will definitely be going back.
Stopped in here for a late dinner. The place is charming, staff was very friendly. The food was good, but I wasn't wowed. The pasta was pretty good, but the little pizzas were just ok. I would definitely come back here for breakfast or lunch!
We came down from Winnipeg tonight & was craving pasta. Spuntino came up & we were able to get a late reservation. When we got there, it was very busy & our host Melissa let us know we might need to wait a little longer. She was sincerely apologetic & let us sit at the bar until we waited & even got a us a drink. Food & service were amazing! Interior design as well were so edge catching. Thank you Melissa for being so attentive & kind♥?
Delicious Italian place. Tried one of their pizzas with mortadella & burrata, it was excellent. Their mushroom pasta was good as well, very rich. Came out stuffed.
Stopped by for lunch with a buddy. We were warmly received. Restaurant is nicely decorated & clean. We sat at the counter which was spacious & centrally located in the restaurant. Server was nice & attentive but was not very familiar with the menu. The Milanese sandwich for $16 was good. Bread was a bit over toasted so a bit too crispy for my liking. Overall a nice experience & would recommend.
