This was THE BEST sushi I've had in a long time. It was super delicious & clearly the chef loves what she does. Plus it's a byob so you can bring the wine you'd like to enjoy with the best sushi around. I can't wait to come back!! 10/10 would recommend ❤?🐟

Another order at Sozo Sushi & another great experience! It's one of my favorite place in Le Plateau to order. Great selections & all ingredients are super fresh! Never disappointed & staff were all very polite, welcoming & professional. I was able to wait quietly for my pick up order & it was ready super quickly! They even give me an extra sushi gift to take home!

Excellent! On est arrivé à 8h45. Le service était très rapide, la bouffe fraîche, généreuse portion. Je viens de Gatineau & j'ai passé 3 mois dans région de Montréal & les environs.. Mont-Hilaire le sushi était très bon mais celui-ci excellent! La dame super gentille.. je recommande fortement..
My bf & I came here twice for a date night. The first time was great! The service was very quick, & super chill. Our waitress took note of when we would finish our dishes & time it so the next one would come out right away. The sushi was quite good!! They had Ghibli music playing & it was a vibe 🩵 We loved it so much we decided to come back for our anniversary.
So, the next time our waitress (different person) was also simultaneously serving & working in the kitchen as a cook. Although a rather quiet night, she seemed really frazzled, tired, & the service wasn't AS nice as last time. She was nice though, I know she was trying her best! The sushi tasted just ok for the price. There wasn't Ghibli music this time & we were greeted kind of unenthusiastically by the cook.
I will say as a shrimp hater, their shrimp tempura is amazing. It melts in your mouth. It's crispy. It's REALLY good.
The ambience is great, just a bit tight & small so when uber eats comes they have to squeeze through chairs. Otherwise it's a sweet spot!
Love the concept for the sushi plates & the sushi it self is delicious! The service was amazing Definitely 5/5!

Food was ok but definitely not good enough for the price. Some all you can eat sushi places with the same rate has such high quality food, but not this one. Bathrooms were disgusting. Service was alright. But if you want good food, go somewhere else.
Give this place a try when you're craving authentic Japanese sushi in the middle of Montreal's amazing urban wonders! The staff is very friendly, & the sushi is as authentic as it gets. This will definitely be one of the restaurants I visit again when I come back!

Went to this restaurant with a friend of mine yesterday & it was a memorable experience. The sushi was one of the best I had in a while, very fresh. The place is very cozy (though slightly dimmer lights would make it even better!), the staff is very kind (shoutout to the waitress who gave impeccable service!)
I will absolutely go back when I can & will probably be my go-to spot for sushi when I get a craving & I'm in the area!
