When life gives you lemons, squeeze it on your souvlaki! Authentic cuisine and lively Greek music, complemented by the Grecian passion for life: this is the essence of Souvlaki Bar. Greek Superstar Mihalis Hatzigiannis teamed up with Foodtastic to bring his passion for Greek cuisine to Montreal. Souvlaki Bar transforms the dining experience, reminiscent of a visit to the Greek Isles, by offering its customers traditional Greek food, in a fun, rich-ambiance environment, sure to leave customers with a lasting impression of what Greece has to offer. We are fresh
Overall, Souvlaki Bar delivers generous portions, fresh ingredients, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that many diners describe as a standout for casual Greek dining. The food is often praised as flavorful and hearty, with gyros and other classics a frequent highlight, and the space is lauded for cleanliness and a comfy, lively vibe with plenty of parking. Service is repeatedly noted as friendly and attentive, though a few visits mention slower timing or variability in staff warmth. Price and value generate mixed feelings: several reviewers feel the portions justify the cost, while others find some dishes or takeout portions not worth the price and point to higher prices for what is received. Takeout experiences sometimes differ from dine-in, with occasional discrepancies in portions or salads. Some location differences are pointed out, with Laval regarded as better than Lachenaie by one reviewer. On balance, Souvlaki Bar is recommended for families, friends, or a casual night out, with strong points in quality, consistency of some visits, and a pleasant setting, but with caveats about value, consistency, and occasional quality lapses like bones in a gyro or overly dry meat.
Usually I go to the location in Laval, wanted to try this one with my co-workers group of 7,the waitress was by herself serving barely with some help ,it's seem the management on floor was poor ,the food nothing to compare with Laval, chicken different spices ,salad was dry in one little cube of feta, portion very little,I really don't recommand this place,if you want to experience highly go to the one in Laval !!!

The one in Laval is better but the one in Lachenaie is mediocre at best. I just ordered take out & there were bones in the chicken gyro. The pork was okay but the chicken gyro was bland & dry as hell, with only tomato & a little tzatziki as toppings. Giving service & atmosphere a neutral score as I ordered takeout. I LOVE Greek food but there are much better restaurants out there, ones without bones in their gyros.
