At Souvlaki Bar, reviews converge on flavorful Greek fare, generous portions, and good value, with the food repeatedly described as authentic, well seasoned, and consistently satisfying. Service is often warm, fast, and attentive, contributing to a welcoming and lively atmosphere, though some visits note moments of inconsistency, including a rude manager and slower service during busy spells. Many diners praise the portions, fresh ingredients, and reliable quality across visits, with standout items like chicken souvlaki, salads, and tzatziki getting frequent praise. A number of comments applaud friendly staff and helpful servers, while a few mention billing hiccups or mischarges that left them a bit frustrated. Some guests consider it a hidden gem and even compare it to a Michelin star in the making, while others remind that experiences can vary by location. Overall, Souvlaki Bar comes across as a dependable choice for casual meals, celebrations, and family outings, delivering great flavor and a warm Greek hospitality vibe that brings people back.
I always loved coming here, It's still one of my favourite restaurants, but when we recently went the waitress was not very friendly with us making the experience uncomfortable & awkward. I'd still go back regardless because I absolutely love the food, I just hope not to get served with attitude again.

Second location I visited from thus chain & again was pleasantly surprised. Gyros meat only plate was excellent, dips were my fav's again. Good choice for a business lunch.
I ordered the porch souvlaki dish for pick up. The meat was overcooked & fatty; I regretted ordering form this restaurant. The staff who handed me the orders were very pleasant & my colleagues seem to have enjoyed their meals, but mine was not good.
I would this place a 20 rather than a just a 5. Not only is the food excellent but the service, the service!!! Been here a few times & I love it more each time. Jerry, the owner, knows his business. & so does George. Ask to be seated with him. You will be glad you did.
Consistently great food & service It was almost 1 year since my last visit, & the food was as good as before with the same familiar faces still working there... Goes to show, they enjoy working there & proof in the friendly service.

We had the meat shovel A with gyros for two people. There was indeed a lot of meat & fries! It was a busy evening on the weekend, but the service was good & food came quite fast.
