On a commandé deux assiettes gyro pita porc, avec patates grecques.
Le gyro pita porc est EXCELLENT. Les patates & le riz sont très bon aussi. Les salades, autant grecques que maison, sont un peu tristes, mais difficile de faire une belle présentation en take-out.
Ça valait plus que 4 étoiles mais peut-être pas 5. J'aurais dit 4.5. Très bon. & vu la quantité & la qualité, les prix sont quand même raisonnables.

My daughter & i went to the new restaurant on Ontario. Excellent server & delicious food. Ordered the vegetation pikilia app & the chicken 2 batons. Decent wine. Not much selection but thats ok. Thanks so much!

We ordered delivery. The food was very good. Just a bit disappointed in lack of olives & tomatoes on salads. Salad really just lots of lettuce but on the expensive side. The dressing cremeuse also a bit weird. Sweet. Not the traditional vinaigrette that one expects with greek food. Maybe next time I can substitute dressing for vinaigrette? Although potatoes & chicken batons & pita were delicious.
Had a Greek bowl with a carrot cake & extra pita....it was really good. Freshly made. I was happy with my order.
For a separate order, I got lamb. It was red on the inside, super chewy & it tasted weird. This tells me that the staff tried to defrost it in the microwave to make the cooking go faster (I did place the order at 8:30 that night & received it by 9).
It would be better to defrost using cold water for 10 minutes. The meat was unedible. I won't order that dish again.

Très bon souvlaki, produits frais & très bonne sauce. Les frites avec la mayo citronée, délicieuses ! La jeune fille au service était très gentille & efficace aussi. Ambiance du lieu calme & chaleureuse. On va y retourner !
We arrived & it was empty the restaurant, we were a bit hesitant, but the food was very good & big portions, we didn't finished the plate, we recommend!

Amazing experience & amazing food. We ordered for a soccer team who extremely picky eaters. The food was so good, we ordered it again the next day. Service, food, & experience were all top-notch. Thanks for everything!!
The food was delicious, pita was fresh with just enough tzatziki sauce & the portions were big enough that we were able to take some home! Would definitely recommend

There have been many versions of 1345/47 rue Ontario East - a mac bar, a Greek restaurant, a mac-&-Greek hybrid, even a bar/club where I could imagine Mariah Carey walking by & saying,'I don't know her.'
But now, it's brand new beautiful Greek restaurant - with new owners, new energy, & a menu that is very delicious.
The moment you walk in, the space feels warm & inviting - soft lighting, light wood accents, & subtle touches of blue that remind you of the islands. The decor is simple but intentional; nothing feels overdone. It's the kind of place where you can stay a while - & you should.
The food? Fresh, flavorful, & comforting. The souvlaki is perfectly grilled with that smoky char, the tzatziki is creamy & bright, & the fries - golden, crisp, & impossible to stop eating. Even the pita feels homemade. Every dish tastes like it was made with care & pride.
Sure, Uber Eats is convenient & staying home is cozy, but nothing compares to sitting down at Souvlaki Authentique, having a meal, & soaking up the atmosphere. It's the kind of restaurant that makes you forget the weather outside.
A great addition to the neighborhood - & one worth supporting.

This is a spectacular Greek restaurant. The space is beautifully put together, lots of white & blue in patriotic homage to the Greek flag. The menu covers all of the Greek grill favourites. The pitas have a bit more variety with untraditional options such as a philly cheesesteak option. I went with the traditional Pita Onassis & it was so satisfying. The place wasn't busy so the server had time to converse, he was a very personable young man. I tried a side order of the potatoes as well & they were delicious, so perfectly seasoned. The pricing was reasonable too. This Greek restaurant checks all of the boxes, you will not be disappointed.
Staff are attentive, the meats are flavourful & the portions are generous. I would recommend if if you are looking for some Greek food in the area. Removing a star because the seating area feels a bit tight & could be modestly improved.
