About us
The story of SHNOOPI begins with our family, steeped in the culinary heritage of the Mediterranean countries. We grew up in Egypt, travelling a lot around other countries with whom we share the crystal blue water filled Sea, such as Italy, Greece, Lebanon, France, etc. As long as we can remember, our cuisine has always been inspired by a lot of these countries’ flavors, mixing ingredients in untraditional ways, yet representing all cultures in a harmonious way. When creating SHNOOPI, we wanted to represent and honor that heritage, as well as share the food we grew up eating with our clients.

Un petit spot tranquille près du Vieux Port. Le restaurant propose énormément de sandwichs & salades tous faits maison. Nous y sommes allés pour goûter les lobster rolls qui étaient incroyablement bons, & bien moins chers qu'à New York ! Le riz au lait était également à tomber par terre. Le personnel est super sympa. Staff is very kind & accommodating. Food is solid though portions can be rather small. The coffee needs an upgrade though, I think they just have a Nespresso that runs pods. If you're calling yourself a cafe... I would expect a better coffee experience, particularly in a city like Montreal.View more

We are sooo glad we had lunch at Schnoopi! The wait staff were engaging & fun. The sidewalk outdoor eating option was perfect. I ordered the goat cheese sandwich. It was sooo delicious...best sandwich I ever ate. Too bad we didn't have room for the Egyptian rice pudding. Highly recommended!View more

I came here after someone recommended it to me as a less expensive place to eat in the area. I was very pleasantly surprised by just how delicious my sandwich was. They combination of goat cheese with honey & roasted walnuts with the vegetables was sooooo good! There is a nice patio with umbrellas for shade, or you can eat inside. They also had plenty of sandwiches ready to go if you are in a hurry & wanted takeout. Definitely recommended!!View more
