About us
The story of SHNOOPI begins with our family, steeped in the culinary heritage of the Mediterranean countries. We grew up in Egypt, travelling a lot around other countries with whom we share the crystal blue water filled Sea, such as Italy, Greece, Lebanon, France, etc. As long as we can remember, our cuisine has always been inspired by a lot of these countries’ flavors, mixing ingredients in untraditional ways, yet representing all cultures in a harmonious way. When creating SHNOOPI, we wanted to represent and honor that heritage, as well as share the food we grew up eating with our clients.

We ordered delivery lunch for 12 groomsmen in my sons wedding party while they were getting dressed at our old Montreal Airbnb. Yousef was amazing regarding communication. He double checked about allergies & ensured that nothing messy was sent. I only had a chance to taste 2 of the leftover sandwiches - goat cheese & the Camembert. They were delicious. I will certainly have lunch there the next time we are in old Montreal. The groomsmen enjoyed all the food.View more

We were in Montreal for 4 days & we ate here twice. Amazing sandwiches & salads. Quality ingredients, & delicious combinations. The guys are super nice. When we told them we were looking for ice because the corner store had none, they gave us a huge baggie full of ice that actually last us for 2 days.View more

I tried their house special, the Shnoopi Salad, which is a delightful mix of arugula, ,mushrooms,truffles, & shrimp-outstanding in both flavor & taste. To top it off, I enjoyed a smooth & refreshing Americano. The service was exceptional, even while sitting outdoors on their lovely patio in the sun. Overall, a phenomenal experience! This is such a lovely casual gem. Hand-crafted sandwiches, some pasta choices, dips, salads & an amazing rice pudding (almost as good as my mother's kheer). We were staying at the Westin & this was only a block away in old Montreal. Sometimes you just need honest, simple & delicious food & Shnoopi fits the bill. There's a modest wine/beer list - which fits the food menu perfectly. Loving & friendly service.View more

I ate the tuna salad & the shrimp sandwich. Both were good. But I don't know why you would have a hot sandwich with cold shrimps. While the ingredients & bread were hot, the shrimps were cold. If that's the way you guys serve it, not my taste. Verdict : give it a try.View more
