The story of SHNOOPI begins with our family, steeped in the culinary heritage of the Mediterranean countries. We grew up in Egypt, travelling a lot around other countries with whom we share the crystal blue water filled Sea, such as Italy, Greece, Lebanon, France, etc. As long as we can remember, our cuisine has always been inspired by a lot of these countries’ flavors, mixing ingredients in untraditional ways, yet representing all cultures in a harmonious way. When creating SHNOOPI, we wanted to represent and honor that heritage, as well as share the food we grew up eating with our clients.
In fact, the name SHNOOPI stands for our family’s nickname. So don’t be surprised if you here us calling each other SHNOOPI in the kitchen!

Emil took really good care of us as a family. Cozy & welcoming atmosphere. He recommended we tried the rice pudding & it did not disappoint, wow! Definitely a must!
Fantastic place. Great food. Very friendly atmosphere. The guy who helped us knows the food very well. You have to try the rice pudding. It is the best.

If a sandwich could drop the mic, this place would be a concert. The food? Absolute perfection-every bite is a flavor explosion. The staff? Straight-up legends. Friendly, fast, & clearly know they're serving up greatness. If you're not eating here, you're doing life wrong. 10/10, would happily let them make all my meals forever.
Absolutely amazing food & great people! My girlfriend & I both got sandwiches & shared the soup of the day, everything was a 10/10. Would highly recommend! Everything here is delicious! Meatball sub (not the red one) is incredibly unique & sooo dang good! Check them out!!

Just wow, where do I begin... Incredibly friendly staff who make you feel welcomed from the moment you step through their doors. The sandwiches & salads have to be hands down the best in the city, made fresh & catered to each customers needs & the bread they use deserves a special mention on its own, just delicious! Lastly, they beautifully designed their interior using inspiration from Montreals historic old port that the restaurant is located in!
Whether you live in Montreal or are visiting, Shnoopi is a MUST.
If you're in the Old Port of Montreal, you have to try Shnoopi! If I could give them 10 stars , I would !! The food is amazing. I had their signature sandwich & it was packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Honestly, one of the best sandwiches I've had. My friend got the pesto chicken salad & she couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The portions are huge & the salads are so good. I'm absolutely obsessed with their caramel iced latte. It's the perfect balance of sweet & refreshing. On top of all that, the staff was super friendly & welcoming. They really took the time to explain the menu since there are so many options to choose from.
I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Amazing spot in the city to grab a lunch. They have the best sandwiches, pastas, salads & soups that taste amazing! No other spot i look forward to going more than shnoopi as they also have an amazing team serving that has the best customer service!! 10/10 recommend
Shnoopi has the best sandwiches in Montreal, hands down! This family-owned spot is all about quality & great service. Youssef makes you feel right at home, & the sandwiches are packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Don't leave without trying their iced coffee it's a game-changer!
Beautiful little cafe for a casual lunch. The food was absolutely amazing - the chicken tahini sandwich can't be beat! The service was also phenomenal. Will go out of our way to stop by in the future!
We walked back to our hotel & found this on the map, highly rated. This food is incredible. I got the minced beef sandwich while my spouse got the chicken tahini. We also got the pasta of the day which was penne, rose, & cheese. DELISH!! Everything was amazing! Customer service was GREAT!! We will definitely be back (this trip & next trips)!!
