I had an amazing dining experience at Shay, largely due to Pamela's exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, & genuinely cared about our experience, making sure every detail was perfect. Got the group menu: salmon gravlax, hummus, babaganouj, toast with labneh, potatoes, benedictine shawarma, shakshouka, waffle & fried taouk, crêpe baklava. Everything was visually stunning & tasted on point. Definitely go hungry because portions are generous!
J'ai aimé le resto il était délicieux je suis allée 2 fois & aucune ne m'a déçu.le seul truc c'est qu'ils se sont trompé de plats.mais c'est pas grave j'ai adoré ce restaurant j'y retournerai c'est sû
This restaurant offers an exceptional culinary experience with delicious dishes that truly stand out. However, there's significant room for improvement in the service department. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly but experienced a noticeable delay before a server approached us. When assistance did arrive, it was without an apology for the wait, & we were immediately asked for our order. The variety & quality of the dishes we ordered were outstanding, yet the service faltered in managing the timing & quantity of food brought to our table. All dishes were served almost simultaneously, overwhelming our table's capacity. A more staggered service would have allowed for a more enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, a mistake was made with one of our orders. While we opted to keep the dish & found it to be enjoyable, an acknowledgment of the error or a gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated. Despite these service issues, the quality of the food compels us to return. Future visits will be approached with the hope of improved service, & we might reconsider mentioning that we're dining with teenagers to avoid being seated in a less desirable section of the restaurant.
I called the restaurent on Wednesday for a reservation of 10 for saturday night. The manager with who I spoke was amazing & super helpful. Once we got there on Saturday night we had the pleasure to have Pamela as our waitress she is 11/10 amazing amazing service. She was kind, helpful & had a smile all night long while serving us. It was for my wife's birthday & everything was just perfect. Thank you!!😊

Amazing food, truly Authentic elevated cuisine. Every detail of every plate is meticulously crafted to perfection. The cocktails are awesome. -One thing that makes a perfect night is the service. Pamela, you did it! You gave us a night to talk about, & we'll definitely be coming back! This place is a MUST! ❤️🔥🚀
The hype around this restaurant is real! I definitely think it's worth every penny. Not a cheap eat by all means, but absolutely worth the experience. I love the twist they put on Lebanese Classics, as well as their unique menu items. If I could recommend one thing, it is their baklava pancakes! I could not finish it if my life depended on it, but I am so glad I tried it. The staff was also attentive & present. I would definitely recommend this brunch spot to anyone looking for something new & unique!
Honestly, the food was overpriced & mediocre at best. You're really just paying for the atmosphere. It's a nice setting for drinks with friends, but that's about it. Service wasn't bad.
What an incredible brunch we had here! Thank you so much for a really magnificent meal. The service was excellent, the music was perfect, the ambiance & decor were wonderful. We had the mouhamara as a starter (holy moly it was good!) & then chicken & waffles & the makenek hash for our mains. Blown away by the flavors! All of the staff were really quick to help, & very friendly. 10/10 recommend & we'll be back for sure!

I highly recommend getting the chicken waffles! One of the best that I've had in my life & the portion was bigger than some of the other dishes. I would give it a 5 if it wasn't for the club music playing loudly that made it hard to relax & talk.
It's wonderful to have a delicious, healthy, vegan friendly brunch spot in Montréal that you can actually reserve for. Be warned that you only have 2 hours, but it's worth not waiting in line outside. The staff is professional & friendly, the service is fast & the food is authentic Middle Eastern flavours with a modern twist. Great mimosas, cocktails, boozy coffees & cocktails. Highly reccomended 👌
W🔥W! Vraiment le brunch était superbe! Le restaurant est plein donc faire une réservation est la meilleur chose à faire. #1- les plats sont vraiment bons, pas trop gros mais remplissant. L'assaisonnement est à point & pas trop salé. #2- Les boissons sont très bonnes mais légèrement dispendieux. Le bar est chaleureux & dynamique. #3- Le service est sympa, le staff souriant & dynamique. Mais lorsque le restaurant est plein tu peux voir le petit débordement J'ai hâte que la terrasse puisse s'ouvrir & enjoy le vibe de la place.
La nourriture est incroyablement bonne & la quantité d'alcool dans les cocktails est parfaite. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée. Je recommande à 100%.
A group of us came here for brunch after seeing all the good reviews, we had the eggs Benedict, lamb Reuben & chicken & waffles. While the food was good, I found it odd that we didn't get any sides with our mains, especially for the price. Usually brunch places give potatoes or something on the side but the eggs benny come with nothing. Overall, the chicken & waffles were the best choice, fried very well with a nice sauce. Also they were playing club music on a Saturday afternoon which seemed like an odd choice. Overall not a bad choice but not the greatest brunch place in Montreal for sure.
