Shay offre une ambiance chaleureuse et moderne avec une décoration soignée, une terrasse agréable et un service attentif et efficace. La cuisine libanaise contemporaine est savoureuse et bien présentée, avec une belle variété de mezze, de dips et de plats de viande qui séduisent aussi bien en brunch qu'au dîner. Le brunch est particulièrement apprécié pour ses plats signatures comme le shawarma eggs Benedict et les baklava pancakes, ainsi que pour les options végétariennes généreuses; le tout est accompagné d’un cadre dynamique et convivial qui donne l’impression d’une expérience soignée dès la première visite. Le personnel est souvent décrit comme chaleureux, sympathique et professionnel, et l’atmosphère est propice à des repas entre amis, en famille ou en couple. this is my favorite brunch spot in the city. i went a little while back in april & sat at the bar. i was super impressed with the speed of the service & the freshness of the food. i got the labneh dish & the flavour profile was complex yet comfortable. i wish i had more room to try the french toast & shakshuka. next time. you must go when in the city.
Such a nice place for brunch. It was packed so I really recommend making a reservation for brunch. Service was polite, bilingual & quick. The food was very well seasoned & very tasty but not to heavy, which was perfect for a brunch. Cocktail were on point & very well balanced, also reasonable price for cocktails 🍹 Would do again for sure.
Very nice & pleasant atmosphere. Service was fantastic The baklava pancake was the ultimate favorite!! I will definitely recomend this to others & would absolutely come back even if it is just for the baklava pancakes just for my baklava pancale fix. The eggs benedict was nice I can get this again, had nice slices of lamb in it. The flavours were well balanced & the poached egg was cooked to perfection. The chicken waffle was okay, it is a good dish just not my cup of tea. The taste of fried chicken for me while I apreciate the juiciness & tenderness of the chicken & how perfectly crispy it was on the outside, I could not help the taste of it reminding me of a giant crispy general tao chicken. Which while I like some times, is not something I personally like as a chicken waffle. The maple syrup can be sweeter(would be nice if it were similar to a au pied cochon maple syrup) I think it may elevate the experience.
We were a group of about 15-20 people, so we had to take the fixed menu which was 55$. You will get everything on the menu, it is a sharing plate concept. Food was delicious very well seasoned, cooked & presented. My advice would be to pace yourself during appetizer (it is very difficult because everything was tasty & I just kept taking). Service was very good, the waiter/waitresses were efficient from beginning to end of service, I think at some point the manager came up to check up on us. It is a nice place. We were sitting on the upstairs terrace. The only downside is that the terrace was covered & it became hot, however they unzipped the curtains/pannels towards the end. Would go back & highly recommended! Worth the price!
Nous avons choisi ce restaurant par hasard car nous étions dans le quartier. La nourriture était succulente. Les plats sont tous relevés avec différentes saveurs & épices. Nous avons mangé sur la terrasse. Belle ambiance. Le service était excellent. Nous avons suivi les recommandations de la serveuse. Nos deux serveuses étaient très sympathiques. Je recommande fortement. Une belle découverte!

Casual, classy, & mouth-wateringly delightful. Might be the best lamb I've ever ordered! Extra props for excellent mocktails. Will be recommending to ask my friends
Wow wow wow is all I can say about SHAY. Went for a dinner reservation with my partner & we were blown away by everything they had to offer. Lovely, dark atmosphere inside with excellent service from everyone. The presentation of the food was beautiful & everything was absolutely delicious. The plate that really stood out to us was the armenian kebab. Holy moly I can barely describe how good that plate was! An amazing combination of flavors & textures that left us dumbfounded. Definitely a must-visit in Montreal!
I really liked the place & ambience. Service was impeccable. 10/10 experience. According to the staff, only beef & lamb are halal. Chicken is not halal.

Really nice classy brunch spot! Service was great. I split the Baklava pancakes & shawarma eggs benedict. 10/10 Presentation 🙂↕️ Pancakes had amazing toppings, the batter itself was solid but nothing special, & cream wasn't too sweet (the syrup on the side was too much for me though). The pomegranate & halloumi on the eggs really made the dish for me 😋 The lamb slices were not the best. Pretty pricey, but I guess that's the name of the brunch game
located in the reviving, industrial Griffintown neighborhood of Montreal, SHAY offers an up scale, modern take on Middle Eastern dining. A lot of the prices are a bit expensive, but you can find a good deal on some meals. Sadly, the meals don't come with a carb by default, so it is an extra cost. I don't think that you will be disappointed by coming here, nor will you be missing out. Compared to other restaurants around here, it's a bargain! Also, our waitress was a pure joy, offering great drink recommendations & treating us to the patio. PSA: you get your food faster if you sit here. It's also much quieter & nicer than indoors & completely dry in the rain.
An absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant! We arrived a bit later on a Sunday evening & had a reservation at 8:30 PM. They seated us quickly & took our orders very effectively. The red pepper dip was absolutely tremendous & the mocktails including other cocktails were wonderful as well. The food arrived on time & wonderfully warm. Service was outstanding! Friendly & very helpful suggesting wonderful accompaniments for our meal. Pricing was good for Montreal. Highly recommended.

We went for supper last night & everything was amazing. The food was delicious & the service was great. Very courteous manager & staff. I can't recommend this spot enough for a small group who wants to share multiple plates. 10/10!!
We visited this restaurant yesterday & it truly did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious. The labneh & the falafel plate are a must-try! The service was excellent & the staff was so friendly. I would strongly recommend.
