Absolutely gorgeous restaurant serving contemporary & revisited Lebanese/Middle Eastern dishes conceived to be shared. Apart from creative, the food is of excellent quality. Unfortunately, I was alone so I couldn't try as many dishes as I'd have liked. In any case, the fatoush-inspired tuna tartare is a must have. The lamb kebab, although very good, was a bit stronger in terms of taste, so it became a bit too much for only myself. They have a large selection of cocktails too. The Apricot Margarita with Zataar & Sumac was very good (although I would've preferred it to be sour instead of sweet). The one thing that could be improved is the by-the-glass wine selection.

My wife & I had an excellent time at Shay. This is our second time dining at Shay & like the previous time, we have nothing but great things to say. Every aspect of our evening was wonderful, from the food to the service to the valet parking outside the restaurant. Highly recommend Shay as an essential spot to check out for a Middle Eastern fine dining experience.

Not authentic at all, pretty pricey, the hash is like frozen tater tots.
The “foul” is like a million different beans & has all the wrong spices. Most middle easterners do fava so I don’t know why there were kidney beans in it. Only dish that was excessively huge.
Olive oil on the hummus was nice.
Shawarma Benedict was nice, but it doesn’t come with sides or anything? No potatoes or salad. Weird for that price.

I loved it here! The location, ambiance, the beautiful terrace the service, the cocktails were so different, mature & flavourful with tastes of the middle east. Food was delicious. It was all the familiar flavours of middle eastern food but upgraded.

We were pleasantly surprised by the service & food at this new restaurant. They had served the wrong bottle of white wine, & replaced it without charge. The food was honestly the best middle Eastern dishes I've had. & our waitress was extremely attentive. Highly recommend

My favourite Middle Eastern restaurant in Montreal by far. I give it a solid 10 without any hesitation. The staff & ambiance are second to none. The attention I got on my last visit is identical to the first one.

The best Middle Eastern restaurant we have ever eaten. An amazing experience of food & taste that went above all expectations. A classy presentation of food with sensational flavors & mouth watering taste, fine dining at its best. Thanks to Ian, an extremely knowledgeable, exceptional host & a professional at his craft, along with the rest of the staff. Overall an amazing experience of food that cannot be described, do yourself a favor, you must try SHAY. We will recommend SHAY again & again!!!!
