Shay offre une ambiance chaleureuse et moderne avec une décoration soignée, une terrasse agréable et un service attentif et efficace. La cuisine libanaise contemporaine est savoureuse et bien présentée, avec une belle variété de mezze, de dips et de plats de viande qui séduisent aussi bien en brunch qu'au dîner. Le brunch est particulièrement apprécié pour ses plats signatures comme le shawarma eggs Benedict et les baklava pancakes, ainsi que pour les options végétariennes généreuses; le tout est accompagné d’un cadre dynamique et convivial qui donne l’impression d’une expérience soignée dès la première visite. Le personnel est souvent décrit comme chaleureux, sympathique et professionnel, et l’atmosphère est propice à des repas entre amis, en famille ou en couple. Dans l’ensemble, Shay propose une expérience culinaire plaisante et donne envie de revenir.
This place was almost perfect. Lovely decor, great service & considerate hosts, who were happy to recommend but left it up to us. The food was almost perfect. Some of the best Lebanese mains I've ever had but sadly the dessert & drinks lacked something. My cocktail was original but didn't seem to have much alcohol in it at all. Personally I like to have fairly strong cocktails as otherwise it just feels like drinking juice. The baklava at the end was some of the worst I've had. Taste wise it was fine but very dry, papery & not something I wanted to finish. It may be that I'm lucky where I live (Austria) with a huge Turkish population & Turkish bakeries. The tiramisu was ok but again we've had better. It really would have been an absolutely 5 star evening if the dessert had been up to the standard of the rest of the meal. It is 100% worth a visit though, & in my opinion not too expensive for the standard they provide.
Such a nice place for brunch. It was packed so I really recommend making a reservation for brunch. Service was polite, bilingual & quick. The food was very well seasoned & very tasty but not to heavy, which was perfect for a brunch. Cocktail were on point & very well balanced, also reasonable price for cocktails 🍹 Would do again for sure.
An absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant! We arrived a bit later on a Sunday evening & had a reservation at 8:30 PM. They seated us quickly & took our orders very effectively. The red pepper dip was absolutely tremendous & the mocktails including other cocktails were wonderful as well. The food arrived on time & wonderfully warm. Service was outstanding! Friendly & very helpful suggesting wonderful accompaniments for our meal. Pricing was good for Montreal. Highly recommended.
Amazing food, truly Authentic elevated cuisine. Every detail of every plate is meticulously crafted to perfection. The cocktails are awesome. -One thing that makes a perfect night is the service. It's wonderful to have a delicious, healthy, vegan friendly brunch spot in Montréal that you can actually reserve for. Be warned that you only have 2 hours, but it's worth not waiting in line outside. The staff is professional & friendly, the service is fast & the food is authentic Middle Eastern flavours with a modern twist. Great mimosas, cocktails, boozy coffees & cocktails. Highly reccomended 👌

La nourriture est incroyablement bonne & la quantité d'alcool dans les cocktails est parfaite. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée. Je recommande à 100%.
Shay food was light & delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming , the personnel were super friendly & caring, the only negative side for me was the push to sell you overpriced (nonetheless a delicious cocktail) . The mezcal was good but definitely not worth 20$
Kat's cocktail creations are amazing!! Her service is amazing, she truly makes the experience so memorable & enjoyable. Definitely coming back for her service & unique creations
So the best sign that you chose the right restaurant is a crowd waiting outside in the snow before opening... & that's exactly what happened when we booked "Shay" during our last visit to Montreal. This place is so worth all the hype. The food was absolutely delicious, the service impeccable (we felt like we were just hanging with friends) & the cocktail tree was worth every penny. We are hooked & will be making this our staple for future visits. Damien, our server, was a delight with incredible energy that completely added to our positive experience. Check this place out!

Un lieu très classe & élégant avec une carte variée (aussi bien le menu brunch que le soir) & des plats délicieux & copieux! Leurs cocktails sont excellents également & le barman peut même ajouter sa touche personnelle au besoin. J'y suis retournée 2 fois dans la même journée & j'ai été ravie après chaque repas! J'y retournerai très prochainement! Seul bémol: la musique etait très forte lors du brunch & mon amie & moi devions presque crier pour s'entendre.

Went for my birthday & truly had the best time. We got the cocktail tree, humus & babaganoush & everything was 10/10! We had the absolute sweetest waitress (Pamela), so attentive & helpful. Staff was amazing, food & drinks were delicious & overall atmosphere was great. Strongly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant serving contemporary & revisited Lebanese/Middle Eastern dishes conceived to be shared. Apart from creative, the food is of excellent quality. Unfortunately, I was alone so I couldn't try as many dishes as I'd have liked. In any case, the fatoush-inspired tuna tartare is a must have. The lamb kebab, although very good, was a bit stronger in terms of taste, so it became a bit too much for only myself. They have a large selection of cocktails too. The Apricot Margarita with Zataar & Sumac was very good (although I would've preferred it to be sour instead of sweet). The one thing that could be improved is the by-the-glass wine selection.
Incroyable expérience au restaurant Shay. Nous y sommes allé avec mon copain à l'occasion d'une célébration & nous en sommes sorti plus qu'émerveillé. Le service était parmi les meilleurs que nous avions reçu ainsi que le souper & les cocktails. Nous avions pris le hummus shawarma, le kebab d'agneau & le riz au safran qui étaient tous absolument succulents & hors pair. C'était également la recommandation de notre serveuse. Les portions étaient parfaites avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour un restaurant de haut niveau. Nous avons très hâte d'y retourner.
