WoW!! C'est tellement bon, tout est vraiment parfait de la musique au décors en passant par le magnifique personnel. Je vous le recommande 100%. Prenez les acras & vous ne serez pas déçu
First time eating creole food & this place did not disappoint. We got the griot, plantain & rice, as well as the spicy chicken. Both of them were delicious & very well cooked. The service was impeccable from our server (& owner?). The place was busy when we arrived, & they had a lot of takeout orders, but our food came out fast & everything was awesome. We will definitely go back for more griot & plantain!

Je suis allée au restaurant Shamdas lors d'une courte visite à Montréal. Après une recherche sur Google des meilleurs restaurants haïtiens de la région, Shamdas s'est distingué avec de nombreuses critiques élogieuses. Dès mon arrivée, j'ai été immédiatement séduit par le décor accueillant, qui évoquait des souvenirs nostalgiques de mon enfance avec son exposition d'objets culturels & d'outils. La nourriture chez Shamdas a dépassé mes attentes. J'ai opté pour deux plats différents : du griot avec du riz Djion Djion & du lalo avec du riz blanc & sòs pwa. Les deux plats étaient tout simplement exceptionnels, débordants de saveur & d'authenticité. Ce qui a vraiment rendu mon expérience mémorable, c'est l'accueil chaleureux offert par l'un des propriétaires. Après avoir appris que je venais d'Ottawa, il m'a gracieusement offert deux bières haïtiennes, ce qui a ajouté une touche supplémentaire d'hospitalité à mon repas. Dans l'ensemble, mon passage au Shamdas a été une expérience délicieuse, & je suis impatiente d'y retourner. Bien que je regrette de ne pas avoir pu laisser de pourboire en raison de contraintes budgétaires, je suis déterminé à me rattraper lors de ma prochaine visite. Si vous êtes à Montréal & que vous avez envie d'une délicieuse cuisine haïtienne, je recommande vivement le restaurant Shamdas.
I own a recording studio in the area, & this is always my top recommendation to people in the studio. The food is always tastes amazing & it's hearty, but also light enough that you can keep recording without needing to crash after. The staff & proprietors are all lovely people, & the vibe is fantastic! I strongly recommend you check it out!

Très très satisfaite de mon expérience à Shandmas! Nourriture authentique, bonne musique & ambiance. Je recommande 100%. N'hésitez à goûter au jus de corossol, il est succulent!

Really good Haitian restaurant. Fairly priced. Their griot is delicious. They have an amazing list of cocktails & even their non-alcoholic options are delicious. You can always order from take out apps for those cold winter days when you just don't feel like leaving home. The Kivi was absolutely delicious too!
It was really a nice place the food is amazing super affordable like the plate of spicy chicken with a drink was 22$ & they give the right amount of food & very fresh
