Sham Mont-Royal est largement salué pour sa cuisine entièrement végane, ses plats généreux et riches en saveurs, et pour une présentation soignée qui donne l'impression d'un repas préparé avec amour. L'ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale, le décor accueillant et le service attentif renforcent une expérience où la clientèle se sent guidée et bien reçue, que ce soit pour le brunch, le dîner ou des plats à partager. Le menu varié propose des saveurs moyen-orientales et syriennes avec des options savoureuses comme kebabs végans, falafels croustillants, labneh végan et desserts délicieux, le tout accompagné de boissons fraîches et de thés parfumés, et les portions généreuses ne laissent pas sur leur faim.
Nous sommes allés entre amies pour mon anniversaire. La nourriture était délicieuse & très copieuse. Le service impeccable. Lorsque la propriétaire a su que c'était mon anniversaire elle nous a gentiment offert le dessert gratuitement.
Absolutely love it here!! The ambiance is magical & the vibes are immediately warm & welcoming. Lovely staff & even lovelier food - will make it a point to come here whenever we're in Montreal!

If you are vegan you might like this place but if, like us, you are the friends of a vegan person who suggested this place for dinner, & if you're used to traditional Syrian food with real meat & real flavours, you will find the food unappealing & a bit gross. No amount of'fake chicken' made with soy or mushroom can replace the taste & texture of real shish taouk. Otherwise the restaurant is ok, service is friendly if not a bit pushy at times (they will push you to order specific items on the menu that are on the pricy side, & they will push you to leave a review before leaving). It's also on the expensive side & not great value for your money (Middle Eastern food is typically known for its generous portions).
The lady who welcomed me was super friendly & helpful. She explained the menu to me & helped me decide what to have.
The shwarma sandwich was superb! The'meat' was really good, sometimes I find vegan meats overpowering or with weird textures but this was perfect. The veggies in the wrap were crisp & fresh too!
Délicieux brunch vegan, même en étant amatrice de viande, je valide fortement le menu offert! La serveuse était adorable & a rendu l'espérience très chaleureuse. Je recommande!
The food was amazing & arrived quickly. The location had great parking & big windows that look into the street. Their drinks are so fresh & pressed on site.
The service was also fabulous.
The brunch was delicious, & our server was very nice & friendly! My only complaint would be the portion size for the price charged. My friend & I were still a bit hungry after the omelette, so we split the chocolate banana pancakes as a dessert (good size portion). Then we were stuffed for the day!
Could be better to have 2 omelettes on a plate (since legumes aren't super calorie-dense) or salad that takes up 1/2 the plate instead of a 1/4, & then have a separate bowl for tater totes (which were also delicious).
LOVE the flavours - just wish it was more affordable so I could visit regularly :)
Also super grateful you're open for brunch till 4 PM on weekdays. The music was fun too!
The food was incredible. The dips were awesome. The vegan kebab was epic. I've never had a tastier vegan kebab that had so much flavour & texture. All of the food here was delicious. You will be happy if you do here.

So good! Dream come true to eat shish taouk again after being vegan for over a decade. I don't think I ever understood the power of seasoning until I ate here. Everything is so flavorful & complex. It's a beautiful symphony. Very kind people working there too.
I wish I could give this restaurant 100 stars! Everything about it was FANTASTIC. The food is high quality & very flavorful. Some of the best vegan food I have ever had! The service is just as amazing. Everyone was very kind & friendly! I will be back!

Wow, words can't describe how amazing the food was. We had the lentil soup, falafel, kebab (it was FIRE).. I've been grateful to try many plant based restaurants all over, this is a gem. HIGHLY recommend, plus the staff were super welcoming. PS. Don't forget to try the blueberry cheesecake as well!
It was absolutely delicious! We absolutely loved the yalanji (vine leaves) & the harra potatoes. We got two juices as well that were great. Would HIGHLY recommend. We went for dinner & the service was fast & friendly. Good atmosphere too! Worth a visit if you are in the area
