My husband & I enjoyed our food. After speaking to the owner we developed an appreciation for the care that was put into creating the vegan recipes on the menu. Owner operated plus owner presence equaled a quality experience. Our host/server was the kindest person. We would return when in Montreal again.View more

If you're looking for incredible vegan Mediterranean food, Sham is a must-visit! We started with the kebbe nayye, labne, & cheese rolls-all of which were absolutely delicious. For the main course, the grilled skewers & shawarma were outstanding. The flavors were vibrant, & everything was prepared with great care. I've been frequenting this restaurant since after covid. When I started going there I loved their falafel, but with time the quality & service went down. Here are a few issues : Usually they put 3 falafels in a sandwich, last time I went the lady only had 3 left cooked & I ordered 2 sandwiches so she made each sandwich with one & a half falafel, which to me is completely dishonest as I'm not paying for a lettuce sandwich. Secondly, their vegetables used to be fresh all the time, the last 3-4 times I went they weren't even close to being fresh. Lastly, I went 2 times where they were supposed to be open but they weren't. Also, you should be aware that their price of a falafel sandwich is overpriced. It didn't stop me in the past because the food was fresh & good, but now it's not worth it anymore. As a Lebanese-Syrian, Falafel is the street food & is the cheapest food to make, so if you want to price a falafel sandwich at 11-12$, it better be the best falafel there is, which is not the case anymore unfortunately.View more

A nice, open vegetarian spot that was perfect for quick dinner while running around the city. The staff were very friendly & communicative. I enjoy finding small local restaurants for their hospitality & we found it here. My non-vegetarian friends were very happy with their meals as well ☺️ The shawarma was a treat as I haven't found a plant-based option elsewhere, I didn't know how much I missed it until I took my first bite. The small poutine was a perfect portion to share with our wraps. All around great for sitting in, & clearly convenient for on-the-go!View more
