Wonderful place to try authentic Persian food.

This was our first time & everything was amazing

We ordered one dinner meal (rice with Zereshk chicken - a tomato based chicken stew) one kids meal (koobideh), one side of meat (koobideh torsh) & a side of olives.

We started off with a lentil soup with pita bread.

For our dinners, we had an order of a chicken stew, & two orders of the grilled koobideh meat. The side of olives were a great compliment to the meats.

Though the place was busy on a Friday night, the food came out pretty faster after we ordered it (10mins)- fast service for freshly made food.

The food was very good with generous portions. The koobideh was especially excellent, well-seasoned & cooked perfectly.

Service was also attentive & friendly. Overall, a solid Persian restaurant experience & would recommend.

La nourriture chez est vraiment excellente. Les plats sont savoureux, bien assaisonnés & préparés avec soin. C'est clairement le point fort de l'établissement.

Malheureusement, le service laisse beaucoup à désirer. On voit la serveuse uniquement pour prendre la commande & apportez les plats, puis il est difficile d'obtenir de l'attention par la suite.

J'ai aussi été déçue par la façon dont le pain pita est servi. Même en mangeant sur place, il est simplement apporté dans une pellicule plastique (Saran Wrap). Pour un restaurant offrant des plats de cette qualité & à ce prix, le pain devrait au minimum être chauffé & servi de façon plus soignée, idéalement accompagné de beurre & de sabzi.

Excellente cuisine, mais l'expérience globale gagnerait beaucoup avec un service plus attentif & une présentation plus raffinée.

Shali is by far the best Persian restaurant in the West Island. Their kebabs are on a completely different level, & it's hard to find a Barg kebab of this quality anywhere else. The Koobideh is also exceptional juicy, flavorful, & perfectly cooked. Combined with excellent service & a welcoming atmosphere, Shali is a place I highly recommend to anyone looking for outstanding Persian food :)

Amazing food. our 1st time there & we will go back 100%. BYOW is a plus also.
Huge portion took half home.
Good service but no one cane to adk us for dessert or coffee...
