An amazing authentic & wonderful Persian restaurant on des Sources blvd ❤?❤? We made reservations for my mother's birthday & upon entering the venue saw many families & friends enjoying the food of the restaurant 😇😇 The staff was super welcoming & answered all our questions about the food ! We started with complimentary Barley soup which was incredibly tasty ❤?❤? For the main dishes we opted for the BBQ Flame-Cooked Meats as my mom had the Tender Barbecue Chicken Thighs while I had the Tangy Chicken kebab (breast) & each meal came with saffron rice & salad with the BBQ Tomato. Each bite was a gourmet's delight & super delicious & our full compliments to the chef 🙏🙏 For dessert we shared a Baklava & it was just as amazing ❤?❤? Cannot wait to come back with the entire family & friends to this 10/10 venue & try other items in its excellent menu 😇😇 MORE UPDATES: Went with my friends & had wonderful lentil soup followed by very tasty & delicious chicken dishes ❤?❤? For dessert we all had the saffron ice cream & it was heaven on earth 😇😇
I truly can't say enough about our experience at Shali. We went last night to celebrate my dad's 76th birthday; we ordered Soltani plates, jooje kebab, mast o musir, kashke bademjan- every plate was better than the next. We all agreed that their kebab barg was BY FAR the best we've ever had; it was so tender & juicy, truly perfection. Their kubideh was just as outstanding. All the appetizers were made with love, you could taste it.
The service was amazing! Everyone was so warm, helpful & welcoming; they made you feel right at home💚🤍❤??🩹 I wish I had asked for our waitresse's name, she was so sweet & had the warmest laugh! They served our food in a timely manner, no delays & made sure we always had what we needed.
It felt really nice to be surrounded by our community in these hard times, it was so nice to see families, couples & friends all gathered in a cozy, humble place that delivers excellence & love in every word & mouthful.
I truly wish you all the best, you deserve every bit of recognition. This place is really a gem & I invite you to try it for yourselves because you won't be disappointed!
The service was excellent & the portions were generous. The food was tasty & well cooked - not too salty - though a little oily. The atmosphere is peaceful on weekends & parking is convenient. Overall, a very satisfying dining experience that I'd happily return to despite the slight greasiness.
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this fantastic neighborhood restaurant. We had friends in town & decided to try it out as we had never been there before. This is my new hidden treasure/go to with friends. The food was excellent, the vibe was family oriented & the staff were very nice. I dine out alot & trust me, this place ranks up there. With the added Bring your own wine, it makes for a great night out!!! 5 stars all around!!!

They first served us a delicious barley soup. We then lovingly enjoyed The Warm eggplant Dish, followed by the main courses of Traditional Persian stews, & chicken breast with saffron rice & salad.
Looking forward to our next visit to Montreal so we can come back & enjoy more selections from this restaurant

Their quality changed alot. Their kababs are thiner than a couple of months ago! Im a longtime customer, & I was their customer when they had a diffrent location as well. The kababs were very dry, & overcooked!

I just finished eating here & was very impressed with the quality of the food! Fair prices for the incredible portions, good modern music, & the staff was quick & friendly. What more can you ask for when wanting authentic Persian food! 110% recommend.

The food at Shali Persian Restaurant is absolutely amazing-authentic flavors, beautifully prepared, & consistently delicious. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the service provided by Samaneh. She works tirelessly, always with a warm smile, & ensures that every guest feels welcome & cared for.
To be honest, the service quality depends entirely on her presence.
I sincerely hope the owners appreciate her value & reward her accordingly, because Samaneh is the heart of this restaurant.

If you're looking for authentic middle eastern taste, you've found it. The quality & taste of those grilled meats are just spectacular. Definitely more suited for groups as portions are huge & perfect for sharing.
Great little persian restaurant. They serve all authentic food. Their rice is always perfectly fluffy & their meat is cooked to perfection. I recommend it to anyone looking for authentic food in a cozy setting.

The food was very good & the service was also great - the staff were friendly & attentive, & overall it was a pleasant experience. I really enjoyed the quality of the food & the atmosphere.
The only thing I wanted to mention is that I found the lack of a uniform for the servers a bit distracting. Some of the clothing, especially very short sleeves, didn't feel consistent with the professional image I expected. I think having a standard uniform or dress code could make the overall experience feel more polished.
I hope you take this as constructive feedback, as I truly did enjoy my visit & would be happy to come back.
