Great atmosphere & friendly service, though they did feel understaffed. We got their new omakase set for 39$ & the sukiyaki broth. The portions seemed small at first glance but turned out to be surprisingly filling. The broth was really good but on the salty side, had to drink lots of water. Be careful not to leave your ingredients soaking in the broth for too long! Overall I'd come back here for a special occasion!View more
Personnel très accueillant, bon service & bonne nourriture. Pas mal de choix . La glace citron vert en dessert était également excellente.View more
Had a very great experience at this beautiful restaurant in the heart of Chinatown Montreal. The food was exceptionally delicious, the atmosphere was calm & very comforting. My wife & even my little toddler loved it.
Staff was very friendly & patient explaining their menu.
Definitely recommend & definitely will come back!View more
Japanese shabu in Chinatown. It's been great over the years, keep coming back. Same consistent quality food. Sukiyaki soup is the best for Angus beef lightly cooked & dipped in raw egg. Prime beef is great as more lean option.View more
The food was fresh. The sets are very filling because of the noodles & rice you get.
However I thought the price was a lot for what you get. The sets could probably come with more meat.View more
Fantastic service that was attentive & speedy. The spicy broth really hit the spot. There is plenty of food for each set. I got the premium beef set & it was really yummy. Wish there was a bit more meat but I came away stuffed (there was a lot of veggies, & it came with a bowl of rice & noodles). The sesame sauce was also really yummy. The ponzu sauce was a bit too salty.
Dessert was an alfogato with chocolate ice cream. The ice cream tasted like cheap ice cream but it was elevated by the espresso.View more

Superbe place, beaucoup d'options & super service. Il y a une bonne option végétarienne que j'adore. J'ai amener une amie qui a aussi été super impressionnée l'endroit. Un de mes endroits favoris!View more
View more
Used to love that place but as with many restaurants, since covid quality went down a bit & prices exploded & its just not worth it anymore. It is still ok if you don't look at the price, but at 40$ before tax for a tiny beef portion that isn't even marbled its really not worth it to me. If at least the beef was still nicely marbled like it used to be I might give it a pass, but not like that. Might not even be their fault, maybe beef inflation really is that bad idk, I just know I won't be back.View more
top tier shabu shabu, i had the surf & turf sukiyaki which had beautiful angus beef & assorted seafood. yum!View more
Great staff. Excellent food. Gluten free options.View more
My favorite place for hot pot in down town Montreal. The broth is so tasty to the point where everything else ( vegetables, the lamb, etc ) goes perfectly well alongside it. It's a bit pricey now since the prices have increased. Fortunately, the ice cream dessert is already included in the whole meal & it's a good ending to the wonderful meal. You're better off calling to reserve because it can get crowded on busy evenings. They even take amex !View more
