Amazing food & amazing service! I placed an order for delivery on December 12th & left a note making sure that my order was vegan. I immediately got a call from the restaurant, & they talked me through how they can accommodate my dietary needs. It was great hospitality! Once the food arrived, I saw that I was even given a complementary order of roti, because it is vegan. 🙏 I appreciated this so much! In addition to the service, the food quality was amazing - the Chana masala & aloo ghobi were phenomenal, & my boyfriend, who isn't vegan, had the butter chicken & loved it. I'm really excited to order from here again. We just found our new favourite neighbourhood spot. Thank you!
Really good butter chicken! The entire office is hooked! 7 years later & we are still ordering every year for our office Christmas party. the food is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
Catered several dishes for our ladies group which pleased the vegetarians & non veg eaters alike! Ordered lamb, chicken, etc . Portions were generous so we ended up having 3 meals plus leftovers to take home. Service was spectacular as ordering over the phone was easy, food was tightly packed so no spills & the owner threw in some extras for us too! My go-to Indian restaurant in the South Shore. From the bold smokiness of the tandoori chicken & beef bhuna to the creamy comforts of their butter chicken & saag - you really can't go wrong with this place. & if the food wasn't already enough to have you coming back for more, the staff are some of the friendliest & welcoming people I've met.
Amazing food! The sauces are amazing (butter chicken & tikka masala), naan breads are delicious (especially dipped in the sauces!). Will definitely come back.

The food is absolutely delicious! Their butter chicken is one of the best I've ever had, the portions are large as well. They definitely live up to the promise of quality, quantity, & freshness, I would highly recommend!
Ordered takeout online. The food was ready on time (great as pickup time was 6pm on a Saturday). Lots of customers dining in. Two customers ahead of me in line, waiting for their order. I had to call for a worker's attention before taking my food which was out on a table as no one acknowledged my arrival). 10% discount for takeout orders. We ordered a butter chicken (rich & creamy, but too sweet for me - I prefer the more savoury style) & tandoori chicken, which was served with rice, vegetable curry, chutney, pickled carrots, mint sauce, & a bit of salad. My family enjoyed it. The portions are generous & the prices are reasonable.
Very good service! The food was hot, the meat was tender, everything we ordered was very good & flavorful. I'm definitely coming back! I recommend the chicken Tandoori! Also a lot of nut free options!!! The staff was very careful & respectful;)
Always accomodating & friendly. While other places are increasing their prices &/or decreasing the portions, Shaan has maintained their prices & they don't skimp on the portions. Thank you for being fair! *March 2022: Ceylon chicken is amazing! Just make sure to tell them to not add sugar to the ceylon chicken & butter chicken (Or any dish for that matter). The mulligatawny soup is very flavourful but also inconsistent from one visit to the next. Last time there was too much fennel & far too much salt. *Dec 2021: Still the best around. *Best indian food on the south shore. Very polite staff. *
My wife & I decided to deviate from our usual Indian spot to a location that has been on our radar for quite some time now. We're very glad that decided to change it up tonight! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt very welcomed by the staff & service was attentive throughout. We ordered our favorite dishes, butter chicken, beef bhoona & saag paneer, all of which were delightful nostalgic but with a subtle & noticeable difference. The flavours were rich but reminded me of true home cooking. The dessert, gulab jamun was just the cherry on top. On top of this, location is easily accessible & parking was a breeze. The prices were very fair considering the increase in food cost & the awesome service. Not to mention, BYOB! We'll be back soon, hungry for more!
Great Indian restaurant with the best Butter Chicken. Choice to make your dishes not too spicy for those that can't eat spicy or more for those that prefer it. Bring all my friends here frequently.
Service was incredible. Food was excellent. I had the lamb Tikka masala & my wife the butter chicken. Both great. The naan was also great. I think I have found my new go to Indian restaurant.
