Beau décor, bonne ambiance, la nourriture était bonne mais sans plus, surtout considérant le prix. Les tables sont plutôt proches les unes des autres. Les mocktails étaient délicieux!
We used to eat at Sesame regularly before shows at Place des Arts, in pre-Covid days. They are in a new location now across the street, & it is a great improvement. Much brighter, more spacious, slick & modern, & much less noisy. One has to remember that Sesame is fusion Asian cuisine. The butter chicken my friend had is not an authentic Indian butter chicken, & the General Tao chicken I had was not the authentic Chinese dish, but they were both excellent. Sesame's own fusion take on these classic Asian dishes. Both were served with the same steamed rice, Jasmine I think, & the same very good, fresh & crispy sautéed vegetables. Everything sprinkled with sesame seeds as well of course. Our server was excellent. My friend is allergic (but not critically) to all forms of soya protein, so Sesame can be a challenging experience. She helped us navigate through the menu patiently & professionally. She checked with the kitchen when she wasn't sure & she came back several times to make sure my friend was happy. We walked out very satisfied with everything.

The service was courteous & quick. The food was mostly good - the GeneralTao chicken was a little dry. A little noisy. But overall a good experience & perfect choice before going to the theatre
juste incroyable & mention spécial à Phil, tout simplement le meilleur serveur de Montréal. Je vous conseille le restaurant pour la nourriture mais aussi surtout pour Phil !

Bon restaurant si vous souhaitez prendre une bouchée tout en écoutant la musique ou profiter des activités de la place des spectacles. Le service est rapide mais vite débordé par la masse de client qui afflue les jours de festivité. La nourriture est bonne & les quantité dans chaque plat son adéquates en fonction des prix demandés. Comme le restaurant est très bien positionné mieux vaut prévoir une réservation si vous ne souhaitez pas avoir de mauvaise surprise.
