Sésame offers a concept unique in its kind: an out of the ordinary variety of high quality Asian dishes to enjoy in a warm atmosphere.
From the Pad Thai to the General Tao poutine, or one of the various wok sautées, you can eat your meal on site or take it to go.
Additionally, Sésame offers a wide selection of loose teas, several privately imported wines, beers on tap, a wide selection of sake, but especially, a menu of exclusive Sésame cocktails.
Sésame presents a refined modern ambiance and a menu that celebrates fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The popular dishes include wonton soup, dumplings with peanut sauce, poke bowls with tuna or salmon, pad Thai, and red curry, all noted for quality and presentation. Service is frequently described as attentive and friendly, and the vibe is lively yet comfortable, especially before events at Place Bell. The cocktails and mocktails receive praise, and the overall experience is described as enjoyable and worth returning for, with many visits repeating the experience. Some comments mention small portions for the price and occasional slow service during peak times or louder music, but these are outweighed by the consistent quality, variety, and ambiance. Reservations are advised on busy nights, the decor is chic, and the staff are appreciated for their professionalism and care.
We had reservations at 8:30pm & were seated upon arrival. Unfortunately we only got our first dish food an hour later & this is including the wonton soups that arrived lukewarm with uncooked veggies thrown in so not sure why it took so long to get our food. The restaurant was not at full capacity at all. Food in general was a little bland nothing great but apparently the poke bowl was good & i enjoyed their Sangria
The waiter seemed a little lost it may have been his first day???
We parked at the indoor parking lot below the building as the parking was supposedly'free for restaurant clients'unfortunately our ticket was not validated properly as we had to pay upon exiting anyway. This didn't happen when we went to Sergiolino's to be noted.

This was my third time at this restaurant, & unfortunately it was the first time I left feeling disappointed. It was a quiet evening with only about three tables seated, yet when I walked in, I was neither greeted nor acknowledged. I eventually found my reserved table on my own, & we then waited about 30 minutes before anyone came to see us. Our drinks took another 20 minutes to arrive, & the food was served lukewarm.
No one checked in to ask how the food was or whether we needed anything. The only time we were approached was at the end, when we were asked,'How many bills?'
It was especially embarrassing because it was my first time bringing my friends here, & the experience did not reflect the positive visits I've had in the past.
