Went to Scores St-Jean with a group of about 16 people for a celebration. Overall, the food & atmosphere were decent & we had a good time.

That said, the service left a bit of a bad impression at the end. After we had already paid, the server came back to comment on tipping, mentioning that people give 15% for good service. Most of our group had already tipped that percentage, & in my case I had also covered an extra cost (a full cake for the table), so I chose to tip a bit less.

Being approached after payment to be told what percentage is'expected' felt uncomfortable & unnecessary. Tipping should reflect each person's experience & situation, not pressure after the fact.

I understand service staff rely on tips, but this approach didn't sit right.

Ribs were dry no real bqq sauce, fries hard & dry.waitress was basicly asking us to clear the table for her & then they ask for big tips..not going back

Ces rendu très cher 20$ pour une poitrine ,en plus maintenant tu dois choisir un tips minimum lorsque tu doit payer,que tu laisse un tips ces normal ,mais que ont mi oblige sans es une autre,bref ... a chacun son opinion
