Was excited to try this cafe. While I like the concept that it's trying to go for - I think it falls on the short end of the stick.
- The service is subpar.
- The couches & tables were dirty. I would also worry about potential bedbugs here.
- music was beyond too loud
- straws were too short to drink from
- matcha was overrated & very watered down with milk, it just tasted like milk. The amount of matcha was also inconsistent (we ordered multiple)
- menu is not very clear
- potential food safety hazard?? As they have all of the pastries out without a cover (I will say the pastries were good though)
I think this cafe is overhyped.
If you don't might going a little further, Léche is a very lovely joint.
Strawberry matcha ($9) comes in a carafe, tastes good, but over half ice cubes.
Wifi takes a bit of time to connect but worked great for working on documents.
Atmosphere is hip but cold. Nice sunlight in an industrial space with high ceilings, but loud music & hard to find a spot to sit. I personally prefer warm & cozy cafes & this is not that vibe. Servers are attentive but there is a professional distance that feels a little cold. Very chill & hip though!
One of the best kept secret cafe workspaces. (you can't really see it from the street). Such a Montreal vibe. House music, big windows, lots of people working, good vibes. Delicious croissants, chocolatines, flat whites.

Brunch at Savsav came with a bit of a mini adventure at the start. It wasn't easy to find, there are no clear signs, & it honestly took me about 10 minutes just to locate the entrance. But once you finally step inside… it's a whole different story.
The space opens up beautifully with a really nice vibe. High ceilings, lots of natural light, & these big trees right in the middle that give the place a unique atmosphere.
I ordered the bagel salade de poulet it was good. Super fresh ingredients, full of flavor, & just really satisfying. I paired it with a latte coconut milk.
The place is great whether you're going solo or with friends. There are big tables if you want to work, & couches if you just want to chill, read, or hang out.
The only downside is that it can get too noisy with the music & people talking loudly, but it didn't really take away from the experience.
Tried the strawberry matcha & it was actually really nice
They seem to have changed the layout - although the additional couchs are cute, their positionning are all wrong. Just looking around made me feel nauseous. I get wanting MORE people IN the café, but the vibes arent the same. The previous layout was much better. It made the space breathe more & for me, I don't feel as relaxed visiting - because the music is also obnoxiously too loud.

Great vibes. Great music/beats. Great food. Great coffee. Easy to get a table at 12 on a Tuesday. Comfy seating. Great for working if that's your style. Unique plates & drinks.
Very well decorated & inviting space. Food was pretty good (would recommend offering hot sauce with your Hangover sandwich 😊).
Half the space was filled with people on their laptops/studying & the other half was just people vibing & chatting. Nice music choice but found it excessively loud - esp with a hangover.
Didn't give a 5 because the chaotic energy was a bit off putting & didn't really resonate with the space. Paying full price for drinks & food but not being served water or really experiencing any level of service was a bit strange, otherwise hoping this place settles into the vibe they're going for !
The food (chicken salad on toast) & my drink (iced chai) were both great. Just a few'downsides': 1) the music is really loud. Personally, I focus well even with music so I'm fine but just to note, it's not the place for great conversation or taking meetings. 2) it's kinda hard to find! Maybe that's supposed to be part of the charm/exclusivity but just warning you, you might get lost finding it.
Mussel toast was delicious, although they did burn the toast. The rigatoni was filling. The other food options didn't seem that inspired though. Jasmine Spritz was refreshing. The Kefir Sour tasted like a lemon starburst. Decor is cute but kinda random. Music was good, loved the bits of disco. Our server was great, attentive & friendly. 5 à 7 deal was great
