My childhood best friend & I used to go to Palais Montcalm for what we always considered the best pizza ever. Since it closed, we've spent years trying to find a pizza that lived up to it. Nothing ever came close.

After some deep research with AI, I discovered that Savoy Deli had the same owner & was making the very same pizza. We had to go find out for ourselves-& the first bite confirmed it. It was 100% the pizza we remembered! Sharing it again with my childhood best friend after all these years made the experience even more special.

Hands down, the best discovery I've made all year. Thank you, Savoy Deli, for bringing back a piece of our childhood. Absolutely worth the trip. 10/10! 🍕

We discussed with the owner & he recognized a picture of my father & was glad to hear about his old restaurant in Montreal, the Palais Montcalm! He gave us a Large Pizza before we left 😎

If you are wondering how good it is, we had to tie it up backseat to make sure it dont move😂

Wow, il y a un an que je suis revenu au Savoy ,venu avec ma mère & mon épouse.
Ma mère a commandé le sole meunière, ma femme un breakfast & moi le club sandwich.
Belles assiettes généreuses & savoureuses.
PS : UN PEU BRUYANT LE MIDI POUR ENTENDRE CE QUE MA MÈRE ME DIT 😅
La serveuse Valérie est vraiment la meilleure & la plus sympathique que j'ai eu le plaisir d'avoir depuis très longtemps 🫶👌
