Compared to a few months ago, I had a much better experience at Shiraz this time. Pizza Bazaar was good too, & it reminded me of the nostalgic taste of the snack-style pizzas we used to have in Iran. Overall, it was a good experience

Iranian fast food is a pretty nice find, & this is probably the only known pick for this genre in Verdun. The full size of the sandwich does not make sense to me because the half size is huge enough for one person, so the large is essentially for two. I went for the Big Boy which was a more gourmet option with a giant Iranian style hot dog as well as their shredded beef. The hot dog I honestly didn't care for too much especially in a sandwich format. On a bun with regular hot dog toppings, I would have loved it on it's own. But it didn't go with the rest of the sandwich for me & just made it harder to eat. It didn't detract from the deliciousness though. It was a little bit too saucy but still a really filling, tasty treat to enjoy. Service lacked warmth but wasn't poor. The restaurant is kept clean & is comfortable to eat in.

Delicious food that reminds us of home. This is not your Italian/gourmet style. This is more casual style similar to Persian pizza joints. Both the pizza & hot dog really hits the soot every time :) Very kind & warm staff!

Swung by for a quick bite on route home. Got the bandari sandwich, fries, coke & special sauce.

I would best describe the sandwich as like an s tier hotdog sandwich with a delightfully spiced (rich but not overwhelming or too spicy) tomato sauce with onions & herbs. Heck yes. The fries are the costco style crispies, which i also love. The sause was a solid choice for dip.

Spent about 24$. I eat breakfast but usually skip lunch. Often I'll eat again later for a deli sandwich combo / small burger. I was pleasantly suprised regarding portions. Very happy.

Staff were friendly & prepared everything fresh & quickly when i arrived. Place is a clean cozy diner style with all the classics (burgers, pizza) but also a little persian zest.

All to say really happy to run into this spot on way home (right of église station 1 min walk). Pls give em a shout, we've lost a lot of good non-chain resteraunts in verdun with good food, good portions, doing something outside the box while also delivering the classics. We gotta support these guys. Give em a go

If you want to experience the nostalgic taste of Iranian-style pizza in the heart of Montreal, don't hesitate to visit Shiraz Restaurant !We ordered the roast beef pizza & it was excellent - both delicious & made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff were warm & welcoming, & the place was clean & cozy. The nearby streets also make it easy to find parking. We'll definitely be back & highly recommend it!
