Exceptional customer service & incredible food!
Our food was absolutely awesome-everything tasted fresh, authentic, & delicious. We originally had a small hiccup where our DoorDash driver forgot the straw for the lassi, but the way the store handled it was top-notch.
Lovely from the store staff was amazingly polite, professional, & took total ownership of the situation. He genuinely apologized for the driver's mistake & went above & beyond by sending us a brand-new lassi along with complimentary samosas as a gesture of goodwill. That level of hospitality & care is so rare these days!
They've earned a loyal customer in me. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience at **Sardar Ji Restaurant on Jean-Talon in Montreal!** 🇮🇳❤?

The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, & full of authentic Punjabi flavours. The portions were generous, the service was friendly & respectful, & the staff made us feel very welcome.

If you're looking for tasty Indian/Punjabi food in Montreal, I definitely recommend Sardar Ji. Great food, great service, & a wonderful experience. 👌😋

The Shahi Paneer was not good at all, & the Palak Paneer was also disappointing. The taste & quality of both dishes were not up to the mark. Overall, not a good experience.totally money waste

I understand your point, but I gave the review honestly after finishing our dinner. There were 4 of us, & none of us liked the Shahi Paneer & Palak Paneer. Nobody asked us during the meal if everything was good. We simply shared our honest experience, nothing personal.

Many people have shared both good & bad reviews. I made the mistake of visiting this restaurant without checking the reviews first. I would recommend everyone to check the reviews before visiting any restaurant, especially this one.

We visited Sardar Ji in Montreal with my family in September 2025 during our first trip to Montreal, & honestly, it became one of the most memorable parts of our visit.

After spending the whole day exploring Montreal, we were tired & really wanted some good, comforting food. We decided to stop at Sardar Ji, & we were so happy we did. The food was delicious, fresh, & full of flavour. It was exactly what we needed after a long day.

What really stood out to us was the hospitality. The entire restaurant staff treated us so well & made our family feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was kind, respectful, & attentive, & the service felt very personal.

A special mention to Lovi, the owner's son. He was honestly one of the nicest people we met during our entire Montreal trip. He was extremely welcoming & treated our family with so much warmth & respect. It is rare to meet people who make you feel like you are visiting their home rather than simply eating at their restaurant.

We even tried to leave something extra as a token of our appreciation, but they very graciously declined & said,'Next time.' It was such a kind gesture & something we truly appreciated. Small moments like that really show the genuine warmth & humility of the people behind the restaurant.

Since it was our first time in Montreal, we will always remember Sardar Ji & the people there as one of the highlights of our trip. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, & a wonderful memory.

Thank you to the entire Sardar Ji team, & especially Lovi, for treating our family so well & making our visit so special. We will definitely visit again whenever we are back in Montreal.

yesterday i ordered daal makhani from this restaurant it was so amazing i feel same like indian taste & thier goat was so amazing i love thier taste so please i must recommend to all try thier goat & daal & thier chinese food too ❤?

Yesterday I ordered dal makhni, yellow dal & lamb kdahi…. Yellow dal was completely spoiled & had a sour taste…. Dal makhni was disgusting & lamb was very bad in taste. We ordered everything for our guests & we felt so embarrassed just bcz of them.I will never ever recommend this restaurant to anyone. I & my guests had-to face food poisoning.One thing more… if you guys dont have fresh food just tell them. But don't play with anyone's life for money.
