Listen yall. You come here for the food, not for the ambiance. Let me tell you: the food is SO GOOD. Probably the best griot I've had in town. I bought the large griot & it gave me enough food for 3 meals. Maybe 2 meals for a man who eats a lot, but it was quite nice & generous. So tasty! I wish I had had a bit more pikliz & plantain, but I know to ask for more for next time. I will be back to try everything else on the menu. The sauce & the djon djon rice were really good too. I was happily surprised to see a macaroni salad included in my order. So good.
Let's be honest: the rice was decent & the turkey was tasty , but the sauce wasn't. I ordered a large portion, yet it looked more like a medium. There wasn't much rice or turkey, & I only got four pieces of macaroni the rest was mostly green salad.Good thing I ordered extra macaroni, but even that was extremely overcooked & pretty much tasteless. Btw order via Uber Eats ! If you're looking for a good Haitian restaurant, I'd say there are definitely better options out there.
C'est la dernière fois que j'achète la bas si t'achète du légume ou lalo ont te mets pas de viande car cest a toi de le mentionner & quand tu le mentionne ont te donne un seul petit morceaux de viande c'est vraiment tu manque de respect
They constantly mess up orders , give you the wrong meal .Im paying 45$ for delivery with a minimum 95min wait all for it to be the wrong order , what's worse is I don't eat pork . Why not accidentally give beef or goat no you choose pork , makes matters worse is not once but twice it's happened now . I honestly give up on this place
I'm surprised by the low rating. This place makes amazing griot. The meat is tender & flavorful, the rice & beans are great, & the macaroni salad balances everything perfectly. They include a tasty sauce (probably meat juices), & the large portion is worth the extra $3. It's my go-to for griot. Highly recommend! I will try to had pictures next time I order.
. Pikliz are goooooood but not spicy enough , salade macaroni is good but is missing a lil salt, griot was good & tasty , de bons morceaux ( take the large plate ) !! Plantains are off
Au début c'était bon mais la constance est importante.
Ma cmd de griot fut de portions de porc plein de gras & peu de viande, il y avait plein de POILS sur un morceau ! je suis dégoûtée & n'achèterai plus jamais chez des malpropres. la dernière fois le macaroni sentais le pourri.
La viande me remet en question… le plat est pas catastrophique mais il est passable la salade de macaroni goûte rien c'est pas le meilleur restaurant & pas le pire non plus mais je ne retournerais pas manger la bas

The food here is fantastic & shears fast service! I have eaten many things here & the portions are always generous!!! I especially recommend the plantains & the delicious sauce that comes with it! So fortunate to have this amazing family run restaurant right down the street from me! Much love to Sarah's ! I highly recommend you order from here!
It was my first time trying this place, it's a solid 3/5. The plantains were not good idk what was going on with them. I did not like the chicken either was dry
