SAO SAO is a warm and friendly "Bring your own wine" Vietnamese family restaurant that is open for over 10 years in Brossard. Each roll, broth, sauce, skewer is prepared and made with love by our Mama Thi loyal to the traditions and the kitchen for all these years.

The pho took more than 30 mins to arrive. It was New Year's Day but looking at the review it might not have anything to do with the date. Restaurant seems to have a lot of takeout orders. The interior was nice but the food was just ok that is totally not worth the wait.
I went there twice, I got the General Sao & the Curry chicken, both very good & generous portions I don't remember the prices tho. The website was outdated when I went, it said it was a bring your own alcohol restaurant but it isn't anymore so a small disappointment on that point when I went there.
Très bonne cuisine si vous voulez mangés un Phò ou un bol repas. Les portions sont généreuses & les plats ont du goût. Les rouleaux de printemps par contre la dernière fois que j'y ai été était fait d'avance, la texture des vermicelles étaient pas super. Je prends toujours la soupe Bún bò Huế Épicé qui est super. Le service est impeccable à chaque fois. Par contre la facturation après le repas se fait au comptoir & c'est souvent problématique & très long, faudrait pensé à améliorer le tout. Un des incontournables pour nous maintenant !

The dining experience at Sao Sao was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere & attentive staff made us feel right at home. The menu offered a delightful selection of dishes, each expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Every bite was delightful, & I can't wait to return to Sao Sao to explore more of their delicious creations. Highly recommended indeed!
Super bon petit resto. Portions plus que raisonnables, les prix sont corrects & la bouffe est délicieuse. Nous avons choisi le bol bùn & la soupe pho. Les nems aussi sont délicieux.
Giving it 2 stars for the staff & service. The Bon Bo Hue is salty & a mess; very basic stuff. Same for the Pho; the beef is frozen fondue beef... not good. The General Sao bol was not better.
There is way better Vietnamese food on Taschereau if you are looking for authentic Vietnamese.
Sympathique & savoureux restaurant vietnamien. Le bol curry coco était délicieux, une vraie explosion de saveurs dans la bouche! Les rouleaux de printemps étaient frais & croustillants. Le service était impeccable. Je recommande chaudement de visiter ce restaurant: il vous fera voyager!
