Delicious food, tried both of their OG Sanji bao & curry beef. The Bao contain half the soup inside, it was piping hot. The Bao wrap is nicely fried in the bottom.
Porkchops+rice cake was good, the porkchop was fried nicely & light.
Tried the mini wonton, the soup was good, wonton was normal.
Highlight is the Bao, Best Sanji bao in mtl right now.
The steamed buns were excellent-just looking at them, you could tell they were perfectly made. The bottom was golden & crispy, with the heat carefully controlled. I love piercing them with chopsticks to pour out the broth, drinking it first, then mixing a little chili vinegar sauce & pouring it in. At this point, it's not too hot, & the combination of broth & spicy vinegar is incredibly satisfying.
The mung bean smoothie is a must-order-it's surpassed even Yinggehun in my heart. I recommend letting it sit for a while to melt the ice before drinking; it's not overly sweet or cloying, with just the right amount of sugar. You can easily drink three cups-haha!
As for the noodles, being a Chengdu native, I'm not particularly fond of Shanghai-style noodles, so I won't comment on those. But the big meat noodle had exceptionally large, thick pieces of meat. Another cold noodle dish was slightly salty, but everything else was good.
Overall, the experience was great. Since it's a new restaurant, having such a pleasant experience is truly impressive. The service was excellent, & I'd definitely come back again.
Première expérience ici, & c'était très bon, les dumplings sont savoureux & les nouilles fraîches & excellente. Je recommande ! Service impeccable 👍🏽
