Le boeuf et le porc bbq reviennent comme des grands favoris, mais toutes les propositions semblent plaire, avec une attention particulière porte a la texture du pain et a l'equilibre des saveurs. Le service est rapide et courtois, et le mode take away est pratique et efficace. Plusieurs clients fideles expliquent qu'ils viennent regulierement depuis des annees et que ce lieu est leur reference pour le banh mi, parfois meme durant des annees d'ecole secondaire. Quelques remarques ponctuelles signalent un emplacement un peu mal situe et des variations dans le service, mais l'experience reste globalement positive et les prix restent attractifs. En somme, SANDWICHERIE VIET apparait comme une adresse incontournable pour des banh mi bien garnis, frais et satisfaisants, a emporter ou a consommer sur place.
Je suis passée mercredi dernier vers midi & j'ai commandé deux bánh mì traditionnels. Malheureusement, dans les deux sandwichs il manquait le beurre & la sauce spéciale. Ce sont pourtant des éléments importants qui donnent toute la saveur au bánh mì, donc les sandwichs étaient un peu secs.
I ate here, & the woman working as a cook behaved very rudely & disrespectfully toward me. Unfortunately, I don't understand why people here are so ill-mannered. I would not recommend anyone to eat here. The place is extremely dirty.
Told the lady no vegetables, she still put carrots.
When I called she said don't understand English,
I proceeded to talk to her in French, she told me carrots is not a vegetable!!!!

Their uber eats 2 for 1 deal is a complete scam. The price is the exact same as what two sandwiches would originally cost. & when you attempt to explain that, the current staff pretend difficulties with english & then provide a disconnected phone number for you to call & communicate the discontentment with their imagined boss
It's been my go to spot for banh mi since I'm in high school (so for a couple of years). One of the best banh mi in Montreal, highly recommended (especially the beef one).
Les sandwichs sont excellents, belle variété & bon prix. Par contre, l'endroit est un peu mal situé. Service rapide & courtois. Je le recommande vivement.

The bánh mì is huge. Good price for what you are getting. Jam pack with thick meat & veggies. The bread is the real deal. It is very thick & not thin like other places.
SUCH GOOD BAHN MI! Came out super quick, easy to order, delicious. Flavorful & had everything you could want in a Bahn mi sandwich, really hit the spot. It's definitely a take away spot though. Thank you!!
Still so consistent this place! If u see below that is my review from before, I leave it as it is considering my review description is still accurate today! I tried other banh mis in the area & honestly nothing compares to their banh mis.
Still the best banh mis in town for me at least, try it to be the judge! But I highly doubt you will be disappointed.
Their proportions, fresh ingredients, pate spread & all the way to their bread (fresh crunchy soft in the inside, great texture) are all to rave about.
In find the quality & service here to be very consistent.
My present & past go to for banh mi for many many years.
Sandwich was so fresh, filled & delicious, I had to bring it back to Toronto for my family to try it. The lady making sandwiches was so kind as well, she gave my friends & I tangerines with our order. This restaurant is why I will be making my way back to Montreal again one day.
La pâte verte du Banh Xu Xe est un peu dure, on dirait qu'elle a été faite 2 ou 3 jours avant le dimanche que j'ai acheté (dimanche 20 avril). J'ai failli acheter 3 pour 6$, mais je n'ai acheté qu'un seul à 2,50$, une chance. J'habite à côté de Vaudreuil, ça fait loin pour aller à Montréal, j'étais donc un peu déçue. J'ai acheté aussi des Banh Mi, Banh Gio & Gio Lua, le tout était très bon & frais, merci.

One of my favorite spots . Today was a bit off though.
I ordered my pork sandwich & was waiting. Told it was going to take 5 min.
A delivery driver came in & was also waiting. The cashier asked him to go to the seats & wait. He was still waiting near the stairs. The cashier asked the guy rather rudely again, to go to a seat to wait. He replied nicely he's not trying to cause trouble, its just he needed to leave quickly. (Or something on the lines.)
The whole interaction was very off, the cashier was a bit angry.
After he got my order & left, my order was served. It took about 17min for my order to finish.
As I was paying, I did not leave a tip because I was doing take out.
I was told nicely next time tip, it helps the resturant to grow.
Its just such a shame, I dont come here often-but every time I pass by I used to get one or two sandwiches. Dont think ill be visiting again.
