As a tourist from abroad would definitely come back again. The staff was lovely & the price was super reasonable. The fries were top notch too. Only advice id say is for them to start offering Smokey BBQ sauce. Otherwise 8.5/10.
Service sympa! & bel ambiance à l'intérieur. Mais expérience terni par le repas anticlimax.
The sandwich was just okay, but nothing to write home about. I tried the ILA sandwich, & while it wasn't bad, the meat was really lacking in flavor & needed more seasoning.
went there by mistake (was looking for Mono), but I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent sandwich (Took the Godfather). Super fresh, prepared as ordered. Bread soft & a tiny bit crispy on top. Similar to portuguese bread but a bit softer. Pleasant staff. Nice big bright open space.
Half pound of steak with cheddar cheese on a bun. Cant go wrong with that
Bun held up fine, steak was perfectly salted, it was a good bite of food for sure. Will come back try differeny sammy
One of the best steak sandwiches in Montreal!! Juicy meat, soft bread, delicious seasoned fries! 10/10
Was Downtown to attend the Habs playoff game but was there early so decided to catch a bite. Something different & came across this Philly sandwich shop. It had great reviews so why not. The decor was very funky with artist portraits of entertainment legends all around the walls!
Not busy at all so there was plenty of seating. Probably seats about 30.
Had the Holy Moly & Ayda sandwiches. Both were good.
Fries were definitely not home cut but they were crispy. Not much of a selection of beverages to choose from for the combo.
Service was very good. Area was clean. Price was reasonable. Street parking so that may be a little tough.
Overall an ok experience.
had a fantastic Italian sub, quite possibly one of the best ive had in a while.
Coup de coeur for ILA Sandwicherie: great sandwich, superb service, plenty of space, clean place (I know restaurants that do not have restrooms as clean as here. Actually, some of them do not have restrooms at all, btw! I am not kidding). Never heard about ILA before & I stumbled upon them by accident while looking for a sandwich nearby & they nailed it on all fronts (I always say, food is nothing if there is no good service because however good your food is, I still need to digest it, & a great service is the recipe to digest great food & ILA has that recipe!). Long live ILA!
Montréal has so many restaurants but this restaurant is a must try one.
