I had heard so many great things about this restaurant, & it definitely lived up to the hype! The dumplings were juicy, flavorful, & absolutely delicious. The portions are generous for the price & leave you feeling full & satisfied. I did try the sweet & sour soup, which wasn't quite to my taste, the texture was a bit too thick, & the flavor didn't really work for me. That said, overall everything was really good, & the service was quick & efficient. I'd happily go back!
The Chinese dumplings here were amazing! They instantly brought back memories of the flavors from a famous dumpling restaurant I loved in China. Each dumpling was full of rich, flavorful soup, & the meat filling was tender & delicious. The service was excellent-staff were kind & attentive-& the restaurant is in a very convenient location. This was already our second visit, & we came all the way from Chicago. It's definitely one of our favorites on our must-visit list!
Sammi Soupe is a classic & will forever be a staple to the flourishing downtown Montreal dumpling scene. I ordered their lamb xiao long bao paired with a ginger ale & had an absolute blast with friends.
I have been like 15 times it is the best dumpling place on earth!! The service is fast & the food is amazing! I recommend the sweet juicy pork soup dumpling!

Les saveurs sont tout simplement délicieuses. Chaque dumpling est bien garni & savoureux, avec une pâte légère & une farce parfaitement assaisonnée. C'est une véritable explosion de goûts à chaque bouchée.
The line was not too long. We ordered the pork soup dumplings & the fried pork ones. They were both very delicious! They each have their unique attributes to it that make them special from other dumplings. Dumplings are also made in front of your eyes. The price was also not too bad. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
