I recently ordered takeout from Salut Asie, & my experience was average overall. The food was decent but didn't really stand out compared to other Asian restaurants in the area.

I ordered chicken & beef dishes. The meat itself was cooked well enough, & I would rate both around 3/5. The flavors were acceptable, but nothing memorable. They satisfied my hunger, but I wouldn't say they were dishes I would specifically come back for.

The biggest disappointment was the chicken meal. It came with plain, dry noodles & almost no vegetables. I expected a better balance, especially since vegetables are usually an important part of these dishes. Instead, the noodles looked & felt like they had simply been taken from a grocery store package & placed in the container without much preparation. Adding more vegetables & a little sauce would greatly improve the meal.

The portions were another weak point. They were regular in size, but for the price I expected a little more. I would rate the serving size 2/5. While the prices are reasonable & comparable to similar restaurants, the overall value could be better with more generous portions or better side ingredients.

I only ordered takeout, so I can't comment on the table service. From what I saw, the interior has a very old-fashioned 1980s look. Some customers may find it charming, but I think it could benefit from a refresh.

Overall, Salut Asie offers acceptable food at fair prices, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially in portion quality, vegetables, & presentation.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT.

The food is terrible, & the customer service is even worse. I canceled my order through Uber Eats just two minutes after placing it, yet I was still charged. They claimed the restaurant had already started preparing the order, which is hard to believe given how quickly I canceled.

Overall, it was a frustrating experience, & I would not recommend ordering from this restaurant.

Je ne me lasse jamais de ce restaurant & je le recommande à toutes mes amies. Toutes les personnes à qui je le fais découvrir sont très satisfaites, & pour moi, c'est de loin le meilleur restaurant thaï.

J'ai commandé un général tao sur doordash & je suis tombé gravement malade. J'ai dû aller aux urgences pour empoisonnement alimentaire & 2 jours plus tard je ne m'en suis toujours pas remis. Je ne recommande pas.

Ce restaurant figure dans mon top 3 des meilleurs restaurants asiatiques de Montréal en terme de qualité/prix/service. Le personnel est toujours très professionnel & respectueux. Une perle d'avoir ce restaurant dans le quartier.

J'ai commandé leur riz au poulet & je suis tombé malade peu après. Mon fils de 22 mois en a aussi mangé & j'ai dû aller aux urgences, où on m'a appris qu'il avait une gastro-entérite. L'hygiène de l'établissement est clairement à remettre en question. De plus, j'ai trouvé un poil dans le riz, ce qui est inacceptable & très inquiétant. Je déconseille fortement cet endroit. Évitez-le.
