It was a nice night out & the place is very beautiful. The waitresses are super nice.
Food was fine (had better in Morocco but it is still decent).
It would deserve a bit more organisation, we asked multiple times to have tea while having the main meal but unfortunately we got tea after finishing our meal.
We could also feel the tension due to the rush of Ramadan. However, I believe that it comes from nice intention to give the best services that's why my overall impression is good.
We went for dinner (with reservation) $50 a person on Saturday. I took Zailouk & "Tajine jarrets d'agneau aux abricots & amandes grillees". Both were good, & the Tajine was exceptional, I highly recumbent it. Then the show started around 9pm, it is was great & fun.
La nourriture est bonne aussi l'atmosphère. Le propriétaire Nabil est très aimable. Je vous conseille ce coin chaleureux si vous voulez manger des bons tajines marocains.
Excellent experience. The attention to detail, the food, the service. Truly amazing. I highly recommend. The team welcomed us even we had a last minute reservations. The service was welcoming & patient with our requests, the owner came to see us to check if everything was to our standards & the dancer did a wonderful job as a performer & animating the party. I will come back & recommend that you go if haven't already.
J'ai pris un tajine de coquelet aux oilves & citrons confits, mon mari un jarret d'agneau aux abricots, nos enfants un couscous royal & tout était délicieux ! De plus, le décor est soigné, chaleureix, tyiquement marocain. Enfin, la serveuse était adorable & très professionnelle.

Le service est bon quoique trop trop long. Quant au menu je dirai qu'il est plus ou moins varié. J'ai été deux fois dans ce resto, j'avoue que la première fois, le tajine était bon quoique le plat n'était pas cuit dans le tajine or que c'est supposé ! Les bords du tajine n'étaient pas brûlés ce qui veut dire que le tajine a juste été utilisé pour servir en dedans. La seconde fois j'avais commandé un couscous. Là encore j'étais un peu déçue, car on dirait que la viande & les légumes n'étaient pas cuits dans la même sauce de couscous. Le couscous était tellement fin qu'il était patteux une fois imbibé de sauce. La viande de poulet était dur & sèche & il y avaient un peu trop & trop de légumes par rapport à la quantité de couscous au fond du plat or qu'habituellement on doit goûter à un peu de tout en une seule bouchée avec équilibre des saveurs...malheureusement ce n'était pas le cas ! Mais bon ! Peut être que j'y retournerai pour un autre plat & surtout la déco ! Que j'avoue est juste magnifique & surtout dépaysante, qui nous fait voyager...
J'ai été conseillé par des amis marocain, & étant moi même franco-marocain, je ne m'attendais pas à grand chose. & bien je me suis bien trompé. Service : a l'affût Décoration : traditionnel (coup de coeur pour les canapé marocain & les tables en métal traditionnel) Cuisine : familiale Vous ne trouverez pas des plats extravagant ou de nouveauté. Cependant vous y trouverez la simplicité & la maîtrise des basiques de la gastronomie marocaine. J'avais l'impression que c'était un membre de ma famille qui avait cuisiné. Ils ne mentent vraiment pas quand ils disent "fait maison" Prix plus qu'abordable avec l'inflation que nous subissons actuellement. J'ai payé 75$ tip + tx compris pour une pastilla en entrée, un tajine d'agneau aux pruneaux en plat principal & un thé à la menthe pour deux personnes en dessert Petit point négatif : musique un peu trop forte mais ça se corrige sans problème. Je recommande très vivement. Merci a Salon Mogador de si bien représenter la gastronomie de mon pays 🇲🇦❤️
Such an amazing place. First of all the atmosphere is gorgeous & rare to find in Montreal. The food was to die for , we tried the pastilla , the chicken tajine & the lamb tajine . Such delicious meals. The service there is really great. Our server was a helpful young man with a friendly attitude & great customer service skills. We got the chance to meet the owner Mr Nabil, who was such a humble friendly man who treats his custumers like family ! We are definetly going back again!!!
Amazing service, great atmosphere & delicious food. We had a couscous tefaya & a lamb tajine. The meat was tender, & the couscous was to die for. Highly recommended 👌
