This place is the best! The restaurant is adorable & the music choice is great! The snoop dog roll was absolutely delicious also love how every roll is named after an iconic musician!
Unpretentious vibe, friendly service, & most of all delicious sushi. The hotate & otoro were particular standouts + the Kendrick Lamar roll required a second order.
Perfect dinner 👏🏾 Sushi was super fresh & beautiful. The rolls were huge & combo was perfect selection
my bf & I were biking around & stumbled across this spot. The music & vibes here are amazing. Service was 10 /10 - unique & genuine
Saint has been a long time favorite for sushi. It is a great place to go for delightful flavors & unexpected rolls. I have always had the tasting menu & have never been disappointed.
Surcharged to remove avocado from rolls due to allergies. The fish in the rolls was moist & bland. Seemed as though it had been frozen & thawed.
Everything was perfect! We got the Clyde tasting menu & every bite was delicious. We also got a vegetarian maki roll, & a King of the North cocktail which were also very very good. They also probably add crack to the soy sauce because I've never had anything as good.
Cute place filled with ambient & colorful lights, great service, good price for sushi. I recommend the Bob Marley & Madonna rolls, very yummy. I just didn't like the scallops hosomaki, weird texture. & the music was awesome!!
Just not what I was hoping for out of a sushi restaurant. Host seemed a bit pompous when I walked in 30min after they opened. Behind the bar staff was great but honestly didn't know what they were doing from a. Sushi perspective. The fish didn't taste great, the roll I had was poorly created. Too big diameter, used rice paper, not great flavors, fell apart easy. The sashimi were huge but clearly not that fresh. The environment was louder then preferred rap music. This place felt like it was put there to impress college students, I would not recommend. Also the price was way higher then KYO japonais bar which was my favorite food in Montreal.
Excellent food, excellent atmosphere! Do take advantage of the Saturday night tasting menu deal! Also the signature rolls are really really good!
One of the best sushi places i have ever tried in montreal. Go for michael Jackson & yann rolls & sapin de noel appetizer. YUM
Really fun atmosphere --the servers crack jokes andvthey have big full belly laughters even when the place is totally full! We got the tasting menu & it was 1) so much food 2) such creative mixtures of rolls & sauces. It was delicious from the start with the sashimi in a sweet vinegar mix & julienned apples. & then the assortment of rolls-- wow. Great place to get your tastebuds shining.
Much respect to Chico, Brazil, Rockstar & Eric for their brilliant & unconventional take on sushi. We will definitely be back for the Purple Rain Roll, Elvis Salad & Notorious B.I.G. Pizza! 🍣🍱 Appreciated everyone's friendliness.
Great service - Chico was very attentive & friendly. Food was memorable- really good. We had the tasting menu & the Prince snow crab roll with pesto.
I went in with high hopes, was totally disappointed by the menu as it had no pictures whatsoever, even though it was all digital by scanning a QR code.
I thought I'm going to end up giving it a 1 or 2 stars rating because the manager interrupted the waiter while taking our order several times...
We ordered a couple rolls to test the waters, & let me tell you, the service was quick, & the food was absolutely AMAZING! We ended up making a full order with appetizers as well!
I've been close to a 100 sushi places in multiple countries, & this is the best hands down!
The waiters always had a smile even when I complained about the menu having no pictures.
Totally recommended!
Nice atmosphere / fresh sushi rolls / seemed a bit understaffed as food took too long to come out
This was such an enjoyable experience. We were visiting from out of town with our young kids & were in the mood for great sushi, & we got that & more. The rolls were inventive & delicious & the service was so warm & welcoming we felt like regulars. This was one of the best meals we had in Montreal & would heartily recommend to anyone craving a fabulous sushi meal.
Very nice people but I 'm not a fan of yogurt in sushi rolls. Expensive for such small portions. No Japanese beer. Wanted to love this place but very disappointed with meal. Bob Marley roll was saving grace.
I would have loved to taste their sushi, but unfortunately I stay in the restaurant. The music was loud enough that I couldn't understand our waiter no matter how many times I asked him to repeat himself. The menu is 100% electronic, but you have to order with the waiter. For me, this is really a poor set up for a sushi restaurant were we are normally provided with a sheet to check of the boxes of sushi that we want. I started writing what I wanted down on my napkin so I could remember with the waiter arrived. I understand the online menus are the latest trend, but for sushi, we should then be able to place our order directly on our phone since the concept is ordering many small portions. The other thing that ended up pushing us to leave was the fact that there is tempura in every maki roll & in order to have any of them without tempura, you have to pay an extra fee.
