⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ RYU Sushi - Montréal Airport (YUL) 🍣✈?

The RYU Special was definitely a 10/10 for me! ⭐🍣 This was easily the highlight of my meal. Fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, & it had that WOW factor I was looking for. I enjoyed it so much that after finishing it, I was still hungry & decided to order something else.

& that's where I made my mistake. 😂

I ordered the combo, thinking I might find another favorite. The miso soup was excellent - warm, flavorful, comforting, & honestly the best part of the combo. 🍲❤?

The rest of the combo, though, was just okay for me. Nothing was necessarily bad, but after how good the RYU Special was, it simply didn't have the same wow factor. I actually regretted not ordering another RYU Special - or even just grabbing some of the ready-made maki from the display instead. 😂

My personal verdict:

🍣 RYU Special: 10/10 - THE WINNER 🏆
🍲 Miso Soup: 9/10 - delicious
🍱 Rest of the Combo: 6/10 - okay, but nothing memorable

Would I come back to RYU? Absolutely. The RYU Special alone is enough to bring me back.

Lesson learned for next time: RYU Special x2. No experimenting. 😂🍣

& if you're passing through Montréal Airport & don't know what to order, my vote goes to the RYU Special.

I went this morning, there was a new employee named Sarou & he told me it's his first day but his service was actually amazing, he took his time with me since I have speech impediments & I really appreciate his help & service hope to comeback at ryu & the food was amazing & fresh.

I came & asked for a sushi roll, the Chinese or Japanese guy there said he had no time to cook a roll, only pokes. What kind of customer service is that? I highly not recommend this place

Most disgusting'coconut' matcha I have ever had in my life. Tasted'fishy' with zero coconut flavor. Kids smoothie was half chunks of ice. Counter staff didn't say a single word to me either, just head nods. Can people not use words at all anymore? Avoid avoid avoid.
