Bestest food.. Even the breads are awesome. We got one cheese & one bagel naan, It was full of flavours & cheese bursting in mouth. We got the bok choy chat.. which was amaaazinggg.. shrimp curry was great as well.. & on that even though we were so full, we couldn't resist getting the mango cheesecake.. which was the best cheese cake I ever had..
& the server, Simran.. She's so welcoming & happy face.. loved her..
Definitely visiting again n again..
They know what are they doing.. & they love it as well..
The food is great, the ambience is cute & also the Indian music in the background.
Amazing food & service in a warm & welcoming atmosphere. Sim was our server & she's great, as have been the other servers on two other visits. It seems like a well-run business with owners & staff that really care.
Tres bonne cuisine indienne raffinée. Ambiance très agréable & chaleureuse. Un accueil très sympathique.
Fomos para conhecer a culinária indiana. O atendimento é ótimo e o ambiente aconchegante

(Btw putting a review in middle of dinner - couldn't resist myself)
Really tasty samosa & chicken korma. $60 with tip but I ate enough for two 🤣🤣👌🏻
Had really high expectations but unfortunately this place is just alright nice place nice people but it kind of felt like watered down Indian food for white people I mean it was ok but where was the vodka in my martini & the butter chicken tasted like it had more sugar than spice not bad but not good eithe
Une découverte
Un service hors pair
Un accueil chaleureux
Une ambiance des plus agréable
Un rapport qualité prix plus que parfait
We were charged $45 per person, but the menu options were very limited across appetizers, main course, & dessert. There was no à la carte menu available either.
The appetizer portion was extremely small, although the taste was good. For the main course, there was only one chicken option. I requested my butter chicken to be spicy, but it came out quite sweet instead, which I genuinely didn't enjoy. The main course overall was not up to the mark.
On a positive note, the dessert was excellent & definitely the highlight of the meal.
Wasted $100 on valentines over the food we didn't like!
We had a nice dinner at Rutba & explored quite a bit of the menu.
The appetizers were definitely the highlight! The Mahi Moti was perfectly crispy on the outside with lovely flaky fish inside, & the Banarasi Cutlet had a great crunch & a surprising little kick of spice that we really enjoyed.
For the mains, the Mewa Mawa Kofta was a standout-the curry was incredibly smooth, rich, & flavorful. We paired everything with the Naan au beurre, which was fresh & hit the spot.
The only slight disappointment was the Lamb Biryani. We ordered it medium spicy, & while the flavor was there, the consistency was a bit watery, which isn't quite what you expect from a biryani.
5/5 Stars - Hands down the best Indian food I've had in Montréal!
I recently visited this incredible Indian restaurant with my family, & it was an absolute standout experience from start to finish. The chef here is clearly very experienced & passionate - you can taste the authentic touch in every single dish. It's like having a master cook prepare a home-style feast with perfect balance of spices & flavors.
The naan was phenomenal - fresh from the tandoor, soft, fluffy, slightly charred on the edges, & buttery in the best way possible. We ordered garlic naan & plain, & both disappeared in minutes because they were that good! Paired perfectly with the curries.
Speaking of the curries, they were superb - rich, aromatic, & full of depth without being overwhelmingly spicy (though you can ask for more heat if you like). We tried the butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, & a lamb curry - all were flavorful, creamy where they should be, & the spices were layered beautifully. The portions were generous, & everything tasted fresh & made with care.
The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, making it ideal for a family outing. The staff was friendly & attentive, & they made sure our kids enjoyed their milder options too. No rush, comfortable seating, & the whole place felt inviting.
This is easily the best Indian restaurant I've come across in Montréal - authentic, delicious, & worth every penny. We had such a great time that we're already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone craving real Indian flavors! Will definitely be coming back soon. ❤?
Best Indian restaurant food was so good specially curry & briyani. Naan perfectly cooked I love it I will come back 🥰🥰
Went for mtl à table once & I really liked it. Then I ordered food from there again & it was so oily & average. The butter chicken was really sweet, the Bengali fish curry was blend but the fish was soft & good. The lamb rogan josh was not spicy. I'm bit disappointed..
Absolutely amazing place. The food is sooo good (& very enjoyable for a low spice tolerance person like me). It is so generous & tasty. The menu isn't expensive & the portions are very big. Plus, the atmosphere is calm, with low very chill music, which is appreciated with food like that I find. The servers were extremely kind & helpful. Honestly, a well-decorated cozy cute & delicious gem!
