Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, & full of authentic flavours. Everything we ordered was really tasty & well prepared.
The server Simran was friendly, attentive, & very welcoming, which made the experience even better & we really enjoyed the Indian music playlist.
Overall, great food, excellent service, & a lovely ambience. Definitely recommend!
The food was exceptional, not too greasy like some Indian places, & incredibly savory. Or server Sim was really nice & gave great suggestions, which I loved! Good came out quick & hot. Will definitely return if I'm in the area. Had a very cool vibe with the decor & artwork too. Reasonably priced!
We were in town for the weekend & wanted to enjoy Indian cuisine on our first night. We chose Rutba as we could easily walk from our accommodations & the reviews seemed pretty good.
The food was excellent & the server's suggestions were spot on. We had great service-even on a night when they were full & very busy. The atmosphere was so relaxed & enjoyable with a gentleman playing guitar & singing.
&, my son, who was skeptical about having Indian food said he loved it, all while continuing to dip his various kinds of breads in all the sauces!
We've already told friends & wouldn't hesitate to go back the next time we're in Montreal.
Food is good. They have limited menu but what's there is very good. The drinks menu is interesting too with a twist of Indian taste. They also have live music on the weekends, there's this guy who sings great Bollywood numbers with his acoustic guitar, making your time worthwhile.
I'd visit this place again.
Good Indian Restaurant. Everything is fine. Foods are very tasty. Only AC & Outdoor door are needed to be fixed. Service was good. Overall good restaurant in Downtown Area, Montreal.

It's my third time eating Indian food, & this is by far the best I've ever had. The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, one of the waitresses left a lot to be desired-she was unprofessional & not very welcoming
⭐Honest Feedback for Rutba - Indian Cuisine ⭐
1. The restaurant has only one AC, which is not enough to cool the place; it was extremely hot inside. They kept industrial fans, but even those were not working properly & didn't help with ventilation.
2. We ordered Kadai Chicken, Naan, Dal Tadka, Rice, & Lassi. The quantity of all dishes was very less compared to the price. The lassi was watery, lacking thickness & taste.
3. The washroom was extremely unhygienic, smelling like an Indian public washroom - very unpleasant.
Overall, the experience was just okay, nothing special & not worth revisiting.
The food has always been great! The attention to detail is on point! Must visit for good Indian food.
