Simran was so awesome. She let us have a great experience at the restaurant with amazing recommendations & service. 11/10 would go again. Food was top notch. We got the samosa chaat, kofta, paneer, garlic naan, & lachha parantha. All incredible. Can't wait to go back. Music was amazing. The lighting was awesome. We loved the overall experience.
The service was warm & attentive, & the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants I've visited. Highly recommended! Sim the waiter was amazing.
📍 Rutba, Montreal | The ultimate Indian food craving solved! 🌟
Safe to say this is one of the best Indian dining spots in the city. Here is what you need to order:
🔹 Baingan Bharta: Pure comfort food. Gentle, home-like, but elevates traditional flavors to the next level.
🔹 The Breads: The lachha paratha is beautifully flaky, & the rotis are light & fresh.
🔹 Tandoori Pomfret & Pineapple Starter: Smokey, succulent, & perfectly charred. The tandoor skills here are unmatched.
A 10/10 Montreal food guide recommendation! 🗺?✨

Our mother's Day dinner at Rutba was absolutely fabulous! The atmosphere is so cozy, the food is absolutely delicious, best Indian food! & Sim was so welcoming & the service was excellent! Rutba is a must!
By far the best indian restaurant in Canada. I live in toronto & i was here in a montreal for a few days & randomly found this on Google Maps…was surprised by the quality & taste
Attentive & friendly service from Sim & others. Best Indian food we've had in Montreal in terms of flavor, creativity & presentation. The place was vibing with the cool decor, happy customers, sounds of drinks being mixed, & the guitar player! It was a Friday night.
I don't know how to fully express how good it was. The taste was perfect, exactly like the food from my hometown. The servers were incredibly kind & sweet, which made the experience even better. I absolutely loved the overall experience & would definitely recommend it as one of the best Indian restaurants in Canada. ( I ordered Chicken Gilafi Kebab 10/10, malai kofta curry 11/10 & Gulab jamun with icecream 9/10)
The food is great, the ambience is cute & also the Indian music in the background.
