Ria & her team were exceptional hosts, skillfully navigating tight spaces to accommodate all our dishes with ease. For our main meal, we ordered the burrata butter chicken, fish pomfret, & daal. The butter chicken was rich & flavorful, the daal had a wonderfully authentic taste, & the fish offered a fun, interactive dining experience. Highly recommended for those who enjoy bold spices & aromatic flavors!

What impressed me the most was how they strike the perfect balance-while offering authentic Indian flavors, they also cater to a wider audience, including French & English-speaking locals. The restaurant was buzzing with people from different cultural backgrounds, which speaks volumes about the quality & versatility of their offerings. Here's what I tried & loved: • Hara Bhara Kebab: Perfectly cooked & packed with flavor. • Noodle Manchurian Platter: A unique & creative dish I've never seen before, served in generous portions. • Zafani Broccoli: Simply amazing & cooked to perfection. • Lachha Paratha: The best I've ever had, even compared to those in India-crispy, flaky, & absolutely delicious. • Dal & Paneer Piyaza: Rich, flavorful, & comforting. • Rosemary Naan & Garlic Naan: Soft, aromatic, & bursting with taste. Rutaba has truly mastered the art of blending tradition with innovation. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, & the flavors were nothing short of extraordinary. Highly recommended. Food is amazing, staff is friendly. Surbhi is very helpful, even we don't have reservations, she make special arrangements so keep the customers satisfied.

Poor service, decent food. Rant coming up. Made a reservation five days before & they cancelled it "accidentally". When I asked to be accommodated they said no. Went on a different day & had a reservation for 9:30 pm. I stood at the gate till 10 pm until finally being seated. The host only came to speak to at the entrance at 9:50 pm. Several servers walked past but no one gave cared to stop & ask. I am a customer & I pay for service, so I need to be respected as a customer. While the restaurant was busy, servers were standing near the bar & chatting, which didn't seem like they were busy. Extremely disappointed with the service & treatment. After being seated, I waited for over 15 minutes for someone to take my order. They were waiting for someone else to show up despite me telling the servers that it was just me dining. As for the food, pretty average. Starters are good, highly recommend the Samosa chaat but not worth the price. Butter chicken was so sweet & I had to literally ask for salt & chilli -> this tells me that they mostly cater to white taste buds. If you go there, expect an aesthetic environment & food. Better Indian restaurants than this for better price so don't recommend.
Best restaurant in downtown montreal. We were 5 people all of us liked the food. Manchurian noodle was bestest in whole Montréal. Highly recommended if you are foodie person try it out this restaurant. Nobody told me to write a review. I'm giving coz I really love it

I recently had the pleasure of trying Rutba & was blown away by the experience! The atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the service was top-notch. But the real star of the show was the food - every dish we ordered was expertly prepared & bursting with flavor. I was particularly impressed by the Junglee mass, which was cooked to perfection & presented beautifully. This dish is spicy though! So it's not for the fair hearted! Overall, I would highly recommend Rutba to anyone looking for a delicious & memorable Indian meal. The combination of great food, excellent service, & cozy atmosphere makes it a standout in the Montreal scene!

Rolled into this restaurant with a hungry crew full of dietary restrictions. The staff were incredibly kind & helpful. Delicious food did not disappoint. Highly recommend the paneer labadar & shahi korma
We ate here for our anniversary dinner, & it was one of the most delicious & satisfying meals I've had in a very long time. The samosa were big & flaky, & the palak paneer had just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend the burrata butter chicken. Well-designed interior & impeccable service.
One of the finest places in Montreal to try Indian food. I would rate it 10/10 on the food quality & taste, we tried their pomfret, chicken, butter paneer & they were all amazing. On top of that the cocktails they have are superb. & the owners are perfect host, they will check on you to ensure that everything is good. & last but not the least their pistachio tiramisu was extremely tasty, I would highly recommend this place.
Absolutely loved the place. It's a must visit if you're looking for authentic, tasty & fresh Indian meal, reminds me of my home food, very very tasty. Hospitable servers, great flavours & nice ambience. We went 4 times in a week in Montreal, so you can imagine how much we liked it. Highly recommend it 👍
