Restaurant Rumi offers you a culinary experience of the Silk Road that once crossed Central Asia and the Middle East. A route that linked cities, oases and markets... great traditions, formidable kingdoms.
The Silk Road was also the route of spices, generous in fragrance and flavor. We invite you to be inspired by the spirit of the travelers, merchants and pilgrims who, for centuries, exchanged goods, riches and important cultural elements.
A spirit of discovery and openness.
We aim to create a hospitable atmosphere conducive to meaningful encounters. A setting in which to take the time to restore oneself in the sense of regaining strength and meaning.
As far as possible, our cuisine favors local, organic and sustainable agriculture. All the meat we serve is halal.
We give priority to fresh, local produce.

It's been 14 years we've been going there & we made alot of good memories there. Just happy they brought back the old menu & hope they keep & add to it too. We'll be back soon :)View more
After a disastrous experience at the Croissanterie across the street we went to Rumi which has been on my radar for some time. It was excellent. The menu is interesting & broad. There was a shakshuka on the menu with beef & lamb which really hit all the buttons. I ate it slowly just to savour it. My wife had a semolina dish - kouinaffeh - which she adored. Add to it a delicious mint tea & it was a great meal. Service was excellent, atmosphere warm & lovely. The server mentioned pastia for the next time. & we'd be down for a next time for sure.View more
View more

prices have of course sky rocketed since I was last here, more than I was expectingView more
After many back & forth about how many we were going to be, with kind help from young lady we finally settled in. We ordered 9 different starters , 7 were excellent & 2 forgettable ( fatoush salad bland & mushrooms boring ) another complaint was you have to order pita-naan bread because it's not included with the entrees. Very petty & annoying. Main courses were abundant & excellent. Service through out was outstanding & friendly. We will go back & try other dishes. We all loved the sauces & exotic spices.View more

Belle terrasse! Service sympathique, formats à partager, convivial!
Went there for lunch & loved the vibe of the place! It is super cozy. We ordered Batingen & grilled squid for appetizer & the Batingnen was average but the grilled squid was yummy! We also got Lassi & Rumi drinks which I liked them both. For the main meal, we got Fez, Kafta & the grilled chicken. The Fez was super delicious & yummy, the Kafta & the grilled chicken was average though. I'm very picky when it comes to rice & they had pretty well cooked saffron rice but the food is certainly over priced. Based on the money you pay & the portion you get I think it deserves a 4 stars.View more
View more
Chaleureux, raffiné authentique & savoureuxView more
View more
Very unique Middle Eastern cuisine. Delicious dishes from Morocco, Iraq, & Iran. The appetizers are well-chosen & very tasty. The main plates taste are very unique & the whole experience is a must-try with the lighting, decorations, & Music.View more
Appetizers were decent, but main dishes were way too expensive for what you get. No one was too happy with the main course. I asked for modifications to mine, but none were allowed which makes me think it is not made fresh.View more
