I actually stumbled upon this place just by walking around, & I'm really glad I did on my first day in Montreal from NYC!
From the moment I walked in, the host greeted me warmly, which immediately set the tone for the experience. My waitress was also wonderful, she was friendly, attentive, & gave great recommendations for classic Canadian comfort food.
I also have to mention their happy hour as it's honestly such a good deal if you're just looking for light bites & a relaxed vibe after work. I tried the wings & their unlimited coleslaw, which came in both a creamy version & a vinegar-based version. Both were surprisingly delicious & fresh, & it felt like one of those small details they really do well.
The overall vibe was clean, calm, & welcoming. Goma had this easygoing, comfortable atmosphere where you can just sit back & unwind without feeling rushed. The food was solid across the board.
If I lived nearby, I could easily see myself coming here multiple times a week after work just to decompress & enjoy a simple, good meal :)
De bons plats sympa, une bonne ambiance dans ce restaurant avec un serveur de bons conseils & sympathique. Juste un bémol sur la petite souris qui se promène sous les tables & qui ne surprend pas le serveur lorsque je lui signale (je sais que ce n'est pas simple d'attraper ces petites bêtes mais bon ça ne présage pas forcément une propreté digne d'un beau resto comme celui ci) dommage pour ça
Overall excellent service politeness & abundance in meal as well for their PU counter It can happen where they can forget something so when in doubt best you can advise them
À part l'accueil & l'hôtesse vraiment désagréable & je tiens à le souligner le tout a été très agréable. Particulièrement le service de Malika souriant, efficace & cordial. J'ai un problème de mobilité réduite que j'ai souligné à l'hôtesse. Cette dernière nous a placé à un endroit éloigné & au bout de la salle. Si ce n'était pas de Malika je ne reviendrais pas à ce resto.
La meme bouffe st-hubert mais un mauvais service. Ce n'est pas la place a aller avant un spectacle. Nous avions une reservation avec une mention que nous devions quitter a une heure precise. Le service etait null & tres long. Nous allions quitter quand soudainement notre serveuse est apparue pour nous donner notre facture en catastrophe.
Same old st-hubert food but very bad service. Do not go before a show you might be late. We had a reservation with mentioned that we had a show & had to leave at a certain time The wait staff was slow & almost inexistant. We had to put our coat on & get ready to leave to get the bill.

Hoy por la noche Fui con mi novio y tardaron 1 hora y 40 minutos en darnos nuestra orden. Llegaron 5 mesas después de nosotros y a todos los atendieron antes que a nosotros. Jamás nos dieron el postre y nos dimos cuenta cuando ya habíamos llegado a casa. Pesimo servicio
pour une 3e année consécutive, j'ai eu le plaisir de célébrer mon anniversaire au st-hubert du village avec mon groupe d'amis. un service extraordinaire de Michèle, un repas délicieux, chaleureux -- un réel parcours sans faute. nous reviendrons!
Service exceptionnel malgré notre timing serré !
Nous avions un spectacle après le souper & le temps nous pressait. Alexandre (le serveur avec les bijoux !) a tout de suite compris la situation & nous a pris en charge de façon remarquable. Grâce à son professionnalisme & son efficacité, nous avons pu savourer notre repas dans une ambiance détendue, sans aucun stress d'être en retard.
