Review Summary

Coco Rico comes up as a standout for rotisserie chicken with consistently juicy meat and crisp skin, paired with creamy, comforting roasted potatoes that many reviews call the highlight of the meal. Pastel de nata are repeatedly praised as some of the best in town, with flaky pastry and a custard filling that hits the right balance of sweet and rich. The place is described as welcoming and casual, with friendly, attentive staff that make every visit easy and enjoyable, whether dining in or grabbing a family meal to go. Value is a common thread, as generous portions and fair prices let diners leave full and satisfied with room to spare. The menu also shines with well executed chicken sandwiches and a range of sides that reinforce Coco Rico as a dependable option for a quick, flavorful, satisfying meal that feels like a little corner of Portugal in Montreal.

The juiciest most flavourful Portuguese chicken .. a definite stop in Montreal. Right beside Schwartz's. Also got a pastiche for dessert.

Natas 6 for 18$ no! They don't look good anyway. They need to be more cook on top. Chicken no flavour same for potatoes.

J'ai adoré ce restaurant.
Service impeccable.
Tout était parfait surtout n'oubliez pas de finir par une pasteis de nata aussi bon qu'au Portugal. Merci Maria !

The chicken is tasty, but I don't know if maybe it was the day or this chicken particularly but it wasn't juicy enough .

The rotisserie chicken here is excellent, but the real stand out is the custard tarts.

Rotisserie chicken was very good - fall off the bone as you go - & the potatoes were good as well. The only thing that would prevent me from coming back is that Rotisserie Romados a few blocks over is better - chicken is comparable but Coco Rico has less sides.

It was honestly one of the best service I've had in Montreal. The food was delicious & the mirror inside is such a good add for mirror selfies & fitchecks.

Oldest Portuguese chicken in Montreal & still the best. Chicken has so much flavor & crisp skin that's amazing . Don't forget the potatoes & the ribs were unreal. Also the rolls are huge & light

Holy moly! Stumbled in there to get a family chicken meal. The food was great, though I must say. No joke, they gave me enough potatoes to end a 18th century famine. Like seriously, the bag was overflowing with potatoes. Not complaining, I love a good spud, but holy hell, who is going to eat 25lbs of little golden delicious, well seasoned, chicken fat absorbed goodness. It was so comical, my family ended up having a potato fight in our Airbnb. We'll likely get in trouble for the potato splatter on the walls but damn, that was fun. Will return!!!
