I think the owners of Rosso Cielo have taken previous feedback into account & made improvements over time. Our experience was far from the negative reviews we had read. We made reservations in advance for dinner on a Saturday night, but finding street parking was a challenge-likely due to the restaurant's location near Place Bell. Fortunately, the hotel offers free underground parking for up to three hours, but you will need to have your parking ticket validated by the hostess at the restaurant.
Overall, the food & service were good! Although it was very busy the staff remained attentive, courteous, & never made us feel neglected. We ordered a mix of meatballs, pasta, a meat platter, & pizza. The fries were yummy-we ordered extra!! The pizza was our least favorite - it could definitely use some reworking - the other dishes were good. The tiramisu was delicious, though the cannoli didn't quite meet expectations. It arrived cold, & the lemon ricotta filling was runny.
The restaurant has a nice vibe, with enjoyable background music & a well-designed interior. The only downside, which isn't the restaurant's fault, was the noise level - acoustics. On a busy Saturday night, combined with the music, we found ourselves having to speak loudly or yell to hear each other. In general, we had a pleasant time & will return again :-)View more

I suggested that place because I had a really good culinary experience there in the past. I ordered the same thing than my previous visit which is the salmon. My salmon was so dry , no finesse in that plate whats so ever. I barely ate it. I told the waitress that it was dry, & she did nothing to accomodate me ( I would had said no , because I don't like to waste food , but I ended up wasting it anyway) . The salmon tartare that my friends ordered were not bad though. I won't be suggesting that place in the future, the food was really disappointing. Waitress was lovely though . :)View more

Moi & des amis de Québec sommes allez essayer ce restaurant.moi qui habite à côté & voulait essayer la terrasse au 10e mais fermé dû à la température froide.l'accueuil fut très chaleureuse.le gérant nous a installé à une belle table.notre serveur Marco nous a très bien accueilli & suggéré les spécialités.entree de calmars & salades cesar.juste assez pour notre repas principal.l'assiette Tomahawk.trop bon .assiette gigantesque avec légumes,queu d'homard très tendre,frites maison & que dire de la cuisson.juste Wow.& excellent choix d'un vin rouge.toute l'équipe un excellent service & attention.👍🏼View more

Nice restaurant located in the Courtyard hotel of the Espace Montmorency.
Food was a hit & miss: y soup was ridiculously small & overpriced! I had exactly 9 spoonfuls of minestrone soup for 11$ which is completely ridiculous. It was served in a huge bowl, as large as a plate but that only contains about 200 ml or so. The soup wasn't even that good, it was pretty basic minestrone soup with mushy veggies & under seasoned broth.
My friend's appetizer was pretty blend. The fried calamaries really looked & tasted like they spent a few hours on the hotplate.
The pasta dishes we received were good: pasta was fresh & tasty so were the sauces but quite heave on the garlic.

My girlfriend & I tried this place for a date night. We started the evening with the polpettes & they were very good. For our main, we ordered the gnocchi alla Gigi & the pizza pugliese. The gnocchi were good especially the sauce. The pizza was way too salty which is unfortunate since the tomato sauce & the crust was awesome. To finish the evening, we ordered the affogato & it was great. Service was okay, since we waited a while to be seated but we did receive our food very fast. The waiter were very nice too.I would recommend the experience with the view, but this is not the best italien restaurant in the area.View more

From quality of food to service, you will enjoy it all. The staff are super friendly & are accommodating.
I dined there for personal & business occasions & my guests loved the ambience.
I have been on Fridays & Saturdays & they are busy but if you like less crowded time, then book during the week.
You do not need to worry about parking, park internally & bring your ticket to the restaurant. It is really a plus !!
