Read the low reviews, dip over to the hiatus. Was told 45 minutes, after the main line there is an even longer line on the 44th floor. Can't find anywhere to make a reservation online, although we chatted with a few people that'had reservations'. When in fact they just were texting friends to get in. Talia was very friendly albeit the poorly managed reservation & line.
Sora staff welcomed us instantly & had a table too.
My friend & I were in a fairly long line, so we knew we'd have to wait for a while. We expected it to take about 45 minutes at most to get seated. Little did we know that multiple people would be allowed to cut the line.
When we finally became the next party supposedly waiting to be seated, we ended up waiting another 45 minutes because we kept being passed over by'regulars,' according to the host, who said he didn't have much control over it.
Even though we had already waited a total of 2 hours & 10 minutes, we decided to leave after noticing that some people who had been seated over an hour earlier still hadn't been served.
Overall, the wait management was extremely disappointing & felt unfair. After more than two hours of waiting, seeing others constantly bypass the line & noticing that seated customers still hadn't been served made it clear that staying longer would be a waste of time.
If you're thinking about going to this place, I strongly recommend reading this before you waste your time & ruin your night.
First of all, it seems that if you want to get in easily, you need to know someone who works there or has connections inside. They say that reservations are not necessary, but when you arrive, you'll find yourself waiting in a long line because the place is busy. What's frustrating is seeing people who arrived after you get in immediately simply because they know someone working there.
On top of that, the manager was extremely rude & showed little interest in helping customers or addressing concerns.
I would not recommend this place. There are plenty of other venues where you can enjoy your evening without wasting your time or dealing with this kind of this

Une énorme file d'attente se crée parce qu'il n'y a aucun véritable système de réservation, mais le pire est ailleurs : on voit carrément des employés sortir & faire entrer des groupes qui n'étaient même pas dans la file, simplement parce qu'ils connaissent quelqu'un ou semblent faire partie des personnes qu'ils veulent faire entrer.
Tout ça se passe devant des dizaines de clients qui attendent depuis longtemps en respectant leur tour. Le sentiment d'injustice est énorme. Si l'accès est réservé à une certaine catégorie de personnes, autant l'annoncer clairement au lieu de faire perdre du temps à tout le monde.
Manque total d'organisation, d'équité & de professionnalisme. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit.

Nous avons attendu près de 45 minutes dans la file pour finalement nous retrouver avec une simple place debout au bout du bar, complètement serrés parmi les autres clients. Le plus frustrant, c'est de voir le personnel faire entrer leurs amis & connaissances pendant que les autres attendent depuis longtemps. C'est un manque total de respect envers la clientèle.
La seule chose qui vaut la peine est la vue. Pour le reste, l'ambiance, l'organisation & la gestion de l'entrée sont franchement médiocres. À ce point-là, vous êtes mieux d'aller au sommet du Mont-Royal la vue est tout aussi belle & vous n'aurez pas à perdre votre temps dans une file pour être traités comme des clients de seconde classe.
Gorgeous views of the river, Mont royal, city. Drinks were nice. Very Miami vibes! Staff all friendly & accommodating. I asked to stand at bar when they said they were booked, & they let me. Had an excellent time
